Avoid this place, ignore my advice at your own peril!
The chicken was horrible. The chicken wasn't just not-moist, it was f*#@'n hard and leathery - like they had it waiting since the lunch rush was over - 3 hours prior.
The price was high even for good Teriyaki. This is $2 Teriyaki to put it very generously. Considering I paid five times that for a combo with gyoza you would at least think they'd give you a decent portion, right? Nope! Skimpiest I have ever been served. That's no exaggeration! Seriously, in my roughly 30 years of enjoying Teriyaki, this is the worst and smallest plate I've ever had, hands down!
Only giving 2 stars here because I can't say the gyoza tasted bad, it was apparently "fresh" yet quite small.
The place is dingy with a whole counter of old crappy magazines stacked up along one wall (to the left though not in the interior picture) Their menu is a very low quality homemade cut n paste job. Also the worst I've ever seen in any town or neighborhood.
How do they stay in business? Clearly they don't spend any money on anything, literally. Hopefully my experience will help people avoid this place. You would be better off lighting a match to a $10 bill and waiting for...
Read moreWe come here all the time but is the last time today. Food is great but the guy that runs the place is a complete jerk. I made an order on the phone to pick up. I ordered a chicken and beef combo family dinner.
My wife came to pick up and they had a single chicken and beef combo order. My wife said we ordered a family dinner and he said I ordered a single. Regardless if I order wrong or he took the order wrong, he was a rude jerk to my wife like we were wasting his time. Didn't make sense because we wanted the family dinner and he would make more money.
My wife waited another 20 min for the right order. He was on the phone during the transaction and didn't say thank you to my wife.
This guy is never friendly on the phone but I always let it go. Not anymore. He was a dick to my wife and should have fixed the problem with graciousness. He lost a long time customer.

Read moreThis little corner teriyaki restaurant in Frontier Village in Lake Stevens differs from most in that it has a drive-thru. The staff is very friendly and the amount of time it took to make it was not unreasonable. I ordered chicken fried rice (size regular) and the combo fried rice (size large, which is a couple dollars more). I was a little surprised that both came in the same size, and I mean EXACTLY the same size. I don’t know whether that means that I just got more chicken fried rice or less combo fried rice, so I plan on going back to order the regular size again and see how much they serve. The food was tasty, no complaints. Excellent flavor, good amount of protein, and tasted very fresh. I am definitely planning on visiting this place again...
