Dino's Carry-Outs — Restaurant in Lake Township

A great place for Chicago classics. Gyros, hot dogs burgers, milkshakes, pizza puffs... Such an awesome variety and daily specials for most menu items. I used to come here a lot when I was a kid (1998-2005), a Greek guy used to run the place. I think he let his cook take over, and the quality changed. Not sure if anyone else noticed, but I sure did. Still fresh - made to order - quick service, but the food just doesn't taste the same. Specifically the gyros, I've ordered two with the new guy running the place, and afterward I always feel queesy. I don't know if it's just me, but my body has definitely rejected the gyros. I stopped going back for that reason. It was a sad reality. Anyway, give it a try if you never have, you might love it...

This is the best everything place!I've had the best Cheese Burger and Italian Beef Sandwich I've ever had. I've tried a verity of their menu items and this place is by far the best tasting. You would be surprised because its a little hole in the wall but, the food and service is amazing. If there is a place I crave at least twice a week it's this place. Called in an order for a gyro meal with a can pop. Asked for my fries to be fresh. Got there to get my food and it was $14 and some change. That caught me off guard but I still paid it. Got in my car to open up my food and notice my fries was nowhere near fresh and they were burnt. The cheese I got on the side was hotter than the fries.!
