The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the food is truly delicious here. Now with that being said, there service is horrible, approximate wait time for food is about 45-60 min (and that’s something simple like a huarache or Gordita.) There staff if switching literally like weekly, it doesn’t surprise me the manager “Jose” is a real piece of work. I’ve witnessed him swearing at the employees with customers present, has no professional demeanor whatsoever ever. On 8/27 on a visit that I did with 3 other coworkers we arrived at 12:20pm we are regulars there because like I said their food is delicious, so we ordered right away. We didn’t get our drinks until about 1:05pm after several times asking the waitress to get our drinks, her excuse was there were no clean cups to serve our drinks! Then as my coworker got up around 1:10pm to go ask for our food the food arrived, out of 4 plates that we ordered 3 of them were wrong. First the waitress tried to argue with us that the order was correct, then she said “ well u want the food or not” and obviously after waiting an hour for our food and our lunch was over we said yeah we’re hungry and we are not about to wait another hour for the right food. I asked to speak to a manager, she came to say that he couldn’t come out because he was in the kitchen fixing the orders because they were all coming out wrong. We went to the register where I refused to pay the order that was incorrect because the played that they brought us we more expensive than what we ordered. The manager didn’t come out he just sent the bus boy to tell us that if we ate the food we had to pay for it. Not even the decency to come and apologize or nothing. Never one apology or trying to do the right thing for the customer , he hid the entire time behind the kitchen. The waitress than said I have to pay out of pocket the difference, and I said “ok, you’re the one who got the order wrong in the first place!” There were 3 tables and all 3 complained plus another table just walked out. The only excuse the bus boy and cashier gave us that they have been unable to keep employees and that everyone is new so they’ve been getting a lot of complaints. This was a free upgrade per their menu’s description. Choice of fries or tater tots. The waitress made a mistake and brought me a side of tater tots with the fries that already come with the order. I asked to have the extra order removed from the bill since it was not an error on my part. The manager, who was not even on site mind you, refused to fix my bill. I have never heard of place who does not have a manager on site. Laziness. All of this was discussed over the phone with the waitress and not with me, the customer. It’s perfectly normal for a staff member to make an error, but this manager was acting crazy for $4. Just $4. Like sure I could afford to pay it, but the point is to provide, at minimum, decent customer service. Don’t force a customer to pay $4 for a staff error. I felt bad for the waitress. Read moreHonestly I've been in this place more than a couple times, and usually I like it, tacos are good and I like the meat, but this day I went to have "Coctel de camarón" and it was definetly the worst part of my day. First of all the servers took an irregular amount of time to serve us or at least bring drinks or chips, second when we received our dish (Me and my friend ordered the same thing) and the sauce was good but the shrimp were all dirty, the intestines were not removed... I'm Mexican and I've ate in many restaurants in and out of Mexico and I've never had a coctel de camarón where the shrimp is not clean. When we asked to the server about our dish and about the possibility of returning it they took it and returned it to the kitchen but later on they told us that that's how the dish is supposed to be served. I also work in a restaurant and I know how cleaning certain seafood works. Anyway the thing is that at the end even the server had some kind of attitude plus the fact that she was saying stuff like "Each restaurant works different" just because I shared that I know how this stuff is supposed to be served and cleaned since I work in a restaurant.
