Mount Carol's Frozen Treats — Restaurant in Lake Township

I don’t usually leave reviews, but Mount Carol’s Frozen Treats earned one. From the moment I got there, the energy was right. The owner’s cool, down-to-earth, and you can tell she actually cares about what she’s serving.

Everything I tried was solid. The Vanilla Valley was smooth with real flavor. The Mount-ology? Really good. The Apple Pie Alamo surprised me—I don’t usually go for stuff like that, but the flavor and richness won me over. The Peanut Butter Cookies were soft and fresh, gone before I knew it. And the Chocolate Cake did its job, no notes.

Presentation was clean and thoughtful. You can tell she puts effort into every detail. It’s rare to find something like this in the area, and I left genuinely impressed.

This was my first visit, but I’m locked in now. Can’t wait for them to open back up...
