This Popeyes needs to be closed down. The service is terrible. I went through the drive thru the young lady tells me to come around to the window to place my order. When I get to the window there is a young lady that comes to the window shoving food in her mouth. So now she is talking and chewing in my face. She asks me what do you want? Not “how may I help you” using proper customer service. So I say may I have an eight piece with a large beans and rice. With an attitude she says “you want what?!!” I repeat I would like an eight piece with a large beans and rice. Then she walks away from the window and helps someone on the inside. Then another young lady comes to the with and says “you want an eight piece and a twelve piece.” For a third time I say my order. Then when I get home I only have seven pieces of chicken. Never an issue with any location outside of the black community in Chicago.. Today I ordered a 2 piece white and butterfly shrimp basket online. When I get to the restaurant I was told that They No Longer carried the shrimp and I would have to get a Refund online. I asked if she could Give me The 2 piece and substitute the shrimp with something else. The Shift manager told me rudely the manager above her left instructions to not substitute items at that location. I asked for that Manager's name and was rudely told No. It was only after I began recording That I was given the Manager's name, Julie Ann, and told to call the 800 Popeyes number. I then requested the 2 piece since it was already paid for and I would just request a refund online for the rest of the order. Read moreThe location on 75th Perry had the best chicken in the past. The customer service needs a lot of coaching and always have. Starting with managers on down to the cashiers. Especially the managers. They give no regard to customer satisfaction. The staff attitudes have gotten even worse. The quality of food and presentation are set aside. They serve old dried out food. You can expect to be greeted and served with poor work ethics. This place is an absolute disgrace. The staff actually curses the customers out. They're so unhappy working here, and they take it out on the customers. I'm done with this location. I will not return until they do a total overhaul and staff training of customer relations. Management needs total replacement. The customer service is so awful. I've lost my taste for Popeyes in general. This place owes the public an apology and a promise to do better. Or close down.
