I came to this restaurant yesterday at around 530pm. They had a sign on the door saying no gravy, no hot sauce, no fries, no coleslaw, etc. I had placed my order online so I knew I would have to substitute some items. Once inside, I hear them saying they only have red beans with no rice, the macaroni and cheese will be a long wait due to it needs to be thawed out, no large cups. A couple in the restaurant asked why were they even open, and the guy who stated he was the manager made a smart comment like because we have chicken and fries. The same couple asked if for the inconvenience they could just have certain pieces of chicken with their order. The male “manager” said no because they don’t have enough chicken. I thought that was poor customer service given the circumstances and the couple eventually asked for a refund. Also, they didn’t have any receipt paper available and made a comment about it takes 3-5 business days for refund to show up like that’s ok. It was just an unpleasant experience to witness from a restaurant who usually does pretty good. Got to the drive thru a young lady said I have to come in cause my order isn't ready yet. Told her I called and she said its store policy for all mobile orders to come in the restaurant if the lobby is open. I told her I picked drive thru not pick up. I called the store while in line, I was told I would have to come in and sign for my mobile order even though it was paid for. I asked to speak to a manager. Person I spoke to told me I would have to wait in line at the drive thru. DUH I informed the person that I was already in line and there were only three cars ahead of me. When it was my turn to pull up to the window, a hand came out of the window telling me to wait. Read moreThis place needs to really, step up their cleaning game. Their just a skip from the health Dept. Failing them, depending on the health department standards. But to walk into an establishment and to see trash on the floor in the guest area as well as where the food is handled. Not Good at all, but what made me more upset was when I went to use the lavatory. Upon just getting to the door there was a mop bucket with standing dirty water with plenty of flies fighting for a spot. No literally there were so many flies that I felt like I stepped into the jungle. So here's the million dollar question to ask yourself where else are the flies flying...hince all around the store even back there with the food.
