Taco Pros - Mexican Cocina (Western Ave) — Restaurant in Lake Township

I was walking along Western Avenue when the most delightful smell wafted by. I looked around to see where it could be coming from. I turned to my right and saw Taco Pros and figured it had to be them so I went to investigate. I go in and and knew immediately that I had to order some food. It was my 1st time so I played it safe and got two tacos, one al pastor and one chicken and an horchata. My total came to $10 and some change . These are street style tacos so they are smaller than a traditional taco. That didn’t bother me but I feel it’s worth mentioning. Although the place was clean and had some seating, I opted to wait until I got home to eat. The tacos and horchata were good. I especially liked the al pastor. I would return. I’ve been seeing this place for over a month and intending on stopping by. I wasn’t too excited about the riffraff that hang out in front of the location. I finally decided to go in and I was pleasantly surprised the service was pleasant and accommodating. The food was seasoned well and tasty, definitely one of the best tacos spots in the area excluding the outside company. I had the steak taco combo, which was on sale and I got a great deal. I don’t know how long their deals are going on, but it is definitely worth checking out. If you are concerned about riffraff outside of the place, go during the daytime/daylight. I ordered taco pros off uber eats because they were having a two for one deal on the chicken burrito, so because this is my first time trying I decided to give that a go. There were several issues. one, because it was two burritos and the meats were the same price I called the restaurant four times to try and see if I can change one burrito to steak , and finally when they did answer I was told by the chef that they had already made my order, and despite of me telling them I called several times to try and change it.
