Western Tacos — Restaurant in Lake Township

3/18/24 0345am I pull up to the window to order six tacos everything on it two with no cheese. I told him that It was a paper on the sign that tell us exactly what everything is can he repeat it. He said no read the menu! Me: it’s not on the menu. Him: okay we about to close what you want? Me: I just told you. Him: I don’t know. Me: I tell him again now he can’t hear me. Me: are you having a bad day? Him: no you problem we about to close! Me: so why not just cut the sign off. Him: we close at 4 Me: so why you being rude to me? I have time. But we cleaned up already. He decided to take my order after another car came behind me & I didn’t take the food bc he was yelling at me playing like he didn’t hear me nor get my order right for 15mins then basically took my order with ease. I told him I was coming to talk to the manager what time the store open he don’t know anything is what he said. It’s a taco place that just opened across the street. They may not have late night hours but if their customer service is better they already won the market. You can lose up to 70% of your customers based on customer service don’t nobody want to give their money & be treated badly & the food isn’t consistently good. Completely not worth the hit or miss!

At 1030 Today I called to talk to a manager and the guy that answered the phone said oh well we was about to closed so I asked him was it okay that I was treated this way. He told me he would tell the boss if he can (what does that mean) I asked what time should I call back. He lied and said he knows this number I’ll NEVER called this place before today NEVER!. & said that I’m trying to make matters worse HOW! PS. Arturo's used to be a favorite especially for their pozole but after our recent experience we're never going back. No chips and salsa when you arrive (you'll have to pay for them if you want them). We ordered a torta and 3 taco dinner. Both items were incredibly small. My tacos included a side of beans that were grey and runny and I opted for a double serving of beans instead of the normal rice. It was about 1/4 cup of beans smeared on the plate. It was the first time we'd ever left a Mexican restaurant hungry. A small side of sour cream was $2.50! The whole bill (no drinks at all) was $32!!! (Prices have been blanked out of the menu and are hard to see in the menu board) Not at all worth it for what we got!! Going to try the restaurant next door next time. It took 5 minutes for someone to come to the microphone and as we placed our order I stated in the very beginning that I want nothing on my tacos . Very plain . I am lactose intolerant so I made sure I stated nothing on both tacos. I checked my order before we pull off and everything was on my taco . I specifically stated nothing and everything was on there. I told the man I couldn't eat this because i can't eat cheese and my friend told him she remembers me stating nothing on the tacos .
