Smoke Filled Room — Restaurant in Lake Township

My, my, my, this is a hidden gem. Well, I didn't know about it. I attended this location as it was selected as a spot to celebrate a friend's birthday party. I felt welcomed immediately upon entering as the owner greeted me; you would have thought I knew him. The music was great...they do karaoke so if that's your thang, add this to your list. The bartender worked the bar and the floor seamlessly making drinks and taking food orders. Let me say this, I am not a foodie by any means HOWEVER, the shrimp basket there has my taste buds screaming for more. I thought about it longer than I care to admit...I am still thinking about it. All the food ordered looked good...the fried green tomatoes and all. Let me get back to the shrimp...the seasoning on them was amazing. No words except I am going back....

The vibes were really great! The dj was awesome they played a great mix of music that night (Friday). Everybody was having a good time, people were dancing and enjoying themselves. I ordered the tenders dipped in a honey garlic sauce, the smoke burger, and key lime pie. Everything was good, the tenders were juicy and nice sizes, the meat on the burger was seasoned and had great flavor. The key lime pie though! It came with a cherry like reduction (sauce) with walnuts, I wasn't expecting it to taste that good. I ate the whole thing before I tried the food 🤷🏾‍♀️...

The food and drinks were delicious! We went on a Wednesday night around 10:30pm and it was a nice crowd of welcoming people. The DJ/music was jamming too!! But most importantly, the service was great.

I appreciated the bartender's compassionate response when my Partner started feeling sick. They didn't hesitate to be helpful and accommodating to her, instead of rushing us out of the bar like I've seen other places do their ill or intoxicated customers.

For that alone, we'll be back for sure. In better health, of course. Lol....
