Sharks Fish and Chicken — Restaurant in Lake Township

I have been a regular customer since they opened. The cashier initially seemed friendly and bubbly, but was not helpful when I'd phone my order in. She could never tell me their specials. While driving in from work, I'd order and pick up my food only to discover their chicken specials would have been more economical. When I pointed that out to the cashier, she simply said, "My bad." She never offered to charge me the special price though I asked her about their specials.

Today, I called to ask her about their specials. I clarified to say I'd like to know what specials they had on their chicken only orders. She kept asking me how many pieces did I want. I told her it depended on their specials. She told me I didn't have to yell at her and hung the phone on me. I was not allowed to place an order.

I have repeatedly patronized this store, though I've had repeated bad service. It seems customers are taken for granted to the point the cashier felt justified hanging up on me because she perceived me to be "yelling" at her. There is no way I would yell at someone handling my food and at someone working at a place I order from frequently.

Father Pflegher made a huge issue about non black owned businesses hiring black employees. Businesses do well to hire competent, black, customer friendly people. I do not need to be a customer to a restaurant with an employee that does not value me as a customer.

Had a party needed 150 wings stopped in a week ago the workers said no problem and I can pick it up at 10:30 am because I needed it early the ladies said the cooks will come in early and start my order so I can pick up at 10:30 am. Went here tonight and ordered some wings thinking it was going to be the quality it usually is but I was thoroughly disappointed! Chicken was luke warm, it seemed like they cooked it too fast when usually I have to wait awhile for my order and it’s well done. Not tonight though. Order was ready in five minutes and tasted bland and terrible! There were two women there and one was cooking (I guess) usually it’s a guy back there cooking and he gets it right!
