Where do I begin…my handsome boyfriend and I came in at about 11:45am and were seated right away. We did not read the reviews because we wanted to have our own opinion of the place.
Food: What can I say, I was very disappointed in the food. I ordered the chicken pineapple panini and my boyfriend ordered the Chilaquiles with cecina. The food came out within 8 minutes from when we ordered which was the first sign we noticed that it would be an interesting meal. The panini bread was not completely toasted and the cheese was not melted at all. The Chilaquiles were not seasoned, the salsa verde lacked a lot of flavor, the tortilla chips tasted as if they were pre-cooked in the morning and the cecina was cold and very dry. We wanted to give them another chance and tried the pancakes. They unfortunately came out within 5 minutes and were not hot just warm with the bottom pancake being not even completely cooked, and didn’t seem to have the flavor like the 3 on top, it was also about half the size of the other 3.
Service: Can’t complain about the service, our waitress was very fast and on point. The only thing we will say is that when we asked for the rest of the Chilaquiles to go (so that we can fix them up at home) the bus boy threw them away.
Atmosphere: Loved the vibe of this place and the decor. I really wish that the food was hot and fresh and not pre-made...
Read moreSurprisingly expensive and unbelievably bad dine in restaurant experience!!! Took the family to breakfast and give them a try and after about a $200 bill extremely dissatisfied with everything. Yes. Service was terrible, in short the servers and bussers are clearly not experienced in their jobs, so the service is nowhere near standard expectations (keeping table clean/clear, refill coffees and waters, napkins, etc.) most of our orders were wrong when they came out??! Even though we took the time to place with waitress in slow, clear Spanish nonetheless??? She was completely overwhelmed, clueless and disinterested. "Manager" finally came out after the repeating disasters, then kept saying "no worries" yet didn't correct what she was promising to correct/fix?? Food was cold and not worth the pricing. Yes. We were charged for everything even the items they brought out that we didn't even order. Skimpy on condiments (butter, creamers, syrup, etc...) Avoid this place if you want a "normal" or "typical" relaxed, quality meal with your family and friends. When I left I felt like I just left working a restaurant shift and like the money I had in my wallet was stolen. For what we pay for our meals, best off going to other establishments in the area. You must have your stuff together if you're going to be charging the prices this...

As you enter you're greeted by a stylish ambiance that sets the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The menu at The Cracked Egg is a breakfast lover's dream, featuring an enticing selection of dishes to suit every palate. After much deliberation, I decided for the Two overeasy eggs with Steak and a side of square potatoes. When my plate arrived, I was immediately struck by the presentation. The eggs were cooked to perfection, with yolks that practically begged to be broken. Accompanying them was a generous portion of tender steak, cooked to my exact specifications. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with the rich, velvety eggs complementing the savory goodness of the steak. And let's not forget about those square potatoes. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they were the ideal accompaniment to my meal. Seasoned to perfection, they added an extra layer of deliciousness to an already stellar dish.
