Granite Dezigns of Illinois — Local services in Lake Township

Unfortunately have been having a terrible experience with Granite Dezigns of Illinois. While I appreciated the affordability of the service initially, it has come at the expense of professionalism and quality work.

They messed up the cut of our countertops (completely uneven cut). Gave me the run around trying to say it was because my wall was not even. Upon proving to Nino that it truly is the cut that was incorrect, I was given another run around about how they will fix the mistake with a lip piece(4 inch backsplash piece) to hide the gap. We agreed and then waited three weeks for them to come by with the lip. Upon the drop off of the lip to fix THEIR error, we discovered they were scrap pieces that were also cut incorrectly and uneven heights. Waiting another two weeks for the new cut lip and have now been told to pick up the pieces and install them myself (in which I was informed they wouldn’t be charging me for the lip as if I should have been in the first place?). At this point I would’ve paid the extra $100 to a company that actually cares about the work they’re doing and customers. We’re now going on a month without a functioning kitchen due to this mess. I would absolutely not recommend this company to someone who wants quality work and a minimal level of customer service!!

I'm so upset with the way they handled my job I don't even know where to begin. Very unprofessional. I can tell you this they left me hanging and right now my home is on a standstill because of them. I'm now here looking for someone to cover their work last minute and it has put my family and I in a tough situation. We can't move in now... Do NOT use this company for your counter tops.. Sandy and Trinidad are reliable and trustworthy and the installers were excellent with my new kitchen counters. Nothing fancy about their warehouse, but they sure get the job done when and where it counts. Planning on using them again very soon...
