The Gran Burrito Xpress — Restaurant in Lake Township

Went to this place today because my girl saw a TikTok about it. I wanted to drive to Pilsen but my girl convinced me. Let me tell you, we made the right choice. Walked in and the owner/cook had everyone in there laughing with his jokes. We really wanted to try a few different things so we ordered a steak torta, quesabirria tacos dinner, steak cheese fries, and a taco. The food definitely had flavor. I loved it. Taste authentic. Also the portions are huge! Great value.

I will go back again soon. I will recommend it to everyone I know.

Restaurant use to be ran by Arabic folks now Hispanics. Wasn’t sure if they sold the same foods. I asked the owner if he could make me a gyro burger and he did! It’s was good! Their fries are different. They’re like potatoe cut fries not wedges! I also got a side of Mexican style street corn. It was so good!! My only critique is layer it with the mayo, butter, paprika, etc. so like put some corn inside the cup add the ingredients and put the rest of the corn and add the toppings. I would def go again! I think having a Hispanic restaurant in the hood...
