Wendy's — Restaurant in Lake Township

For some reason I had a dream about Wendy's that got me hankering for some even though I haven't had Wendy's in awhile & usually when I do it's "meh" at best. Still...I wasn't deterred & after seeing that Wendy's offered breakfast I definitely had to grab some! Enter the breakfast baconator, sausage biscuit, sausage egg & cheese croissant with a peach lemonade to top it off.

Sausage Biscuit: Price - You can't beat $1.50. This is an especially good deal because you get a decent size sausage sandwich & not the little mini ones companies try to get away with. 5/5 stars

Presentation - Barebones, but nonetheless inviting with it's fresh baked bread feel as well the tender sausage. 3/5

Taste - Sausage itself is good, but has an obviously processed taste & texture to it. Everything is super soft, buttery & moist.

Breakfast Baconator - Price - $7.19 for a combo is pretty good, especially since I was able to pick a large drink & side without having to pay upcharges. 5/5 stars

Presentation - Albeit the cheese got a little out of hand, this is a beauty of a breakfast sandwich. Perfectly warm, soft, buttery & moist croissant with everything in a neat square stack. Cheese is melted which is a plus! 4/5 stars

Taste - I feel like I was bamboozled because this was sausage instead of beef (a baconator on a croissant with egg was extremely appealing,) but it was my fault for not fully reading the description. Everything came together nicely with the crispy bacon & perfectly cooked egg. The sausage once again had that processed taste to it. Picking a croissant instead of the normal bun is definitely the way to go as it is just so deliciously buttery. It is also not greasy & mess free! 4/5 stars

Overall, things have improved with this place from. Several years ago it was different, but now they prepared my food fairly quickly. The food is great. They also seem to take care in preparing items versus just slapping them together as quickly as possible.

Sausage, Egg & Cheese Croissant - Price - Competitive with other sandwiches on the market, but there's always that special one in my heart 4/5 stars

Presentation - Nice & tight. Everything once again is just perfectly cooked, soft & tender. 4/5 stars

Taste - Incase you were wondering... this is up there, but has no chance against Burger King's croissanwich. Just like every other item the processed sausage holds it back while every other ingredient is...

I've visited this establishment on occasion if I'm in the area, far as the service concern I've never had any issues. The only thing that concerned me is how Wendy's sacrifice their quality for quantity, at one point it use too about of the hot an juicy concept, whereas the cheese on your burgers would be melting inside of the wrappers, now everything seemed precooked an placed into a steam draw just to get you up an out of their. 10/25/21 visited this establishment an just realized that it was something different about Wendy's 🍟 fries, an I would say when well enough needed to be left alone, this is a prime example of that...."A total flop" these hot crispy 🍟's are disgusting👎 The idea of this is just a bad one (Wendy's corporation) you guy's should at least consider it as secondary option too create more excitement about the idea having choices of "Hot crispy 🍟 or...

Update: Just gave a 1 star for rewards not being taken off my orders so I end up paying full price for my items due to poorly trained cashiers on top off management not willing to override due to their scanner not properly working!! Ordered through my Wendy's app for a drive thru pick up 20 mins prior get to drive thru speaker to make them aware and they said I have to come inside I told them i wasn't a drive share driver and it IS and option for mobile drive thru pick up drove to window was given all my food in one bag although it was 4 for 4 meal deal so bag was over stuffed and all my food wasted in my car and my pop spilled because lid was not properly on and to add insult to injury my Meduim fry wasn't in the bag and one of my 4 for 4 chicken nuggets which was supposed to be a 4 piece was a 2piece so my daughter was shorten it's sad and ridiculous...
