Crushed Pizzeria should be your next dinner experience.
Let me break it down: the crust? good flavor and the right balance of crispy/chewy. Check out the bread sticks if you like crust, they use their pizza dough to make them too. Also, the crust reheats great in the oven for your leftovers.
Toppings are fresh and high quality. Example: their mushrooms are shaved thin and I suspect are roasted lightly before going on the pizza...total flavor game changer because you aren't getting soggy or thick 'shrooms, just postage stamp thin mushroom umami goodness. That attention to detail and quality carries over to all their topping options.
Lastly, SALAD. When I order pizza, do I want salad? Usually no, but their salads are SO GOOD. I'm partial to the Charlie (fig, walnut, gorgonzola, spinach) but the Victor is a close second choice if you aren't down for blue cheese. I have started ordering a half salad with my pizza, then saving the salad for lunch the following day to enjoy. A half salad and a couple slices of leftover pizza is a perfect day after meal.
Every once in awhile, they toss in a free brownie with my order. It's not expected but always a delightful surprise when it...
Read moreThere never seems to be enough restaurants that know how to balance a simple menu and doing one heck of a job at the few items listed on it. I'm so, so happy to have ordered from Crushed Pizzeria - they're superbly nice, make really good pies and keep the price really, really reasonable.
They only two sizes, and the larger one can probably feed 3-4 people. The toppings are only about $1.13 extra and the pizza crust is a perfectly chewy, blistery creation.
Also they've been sending this awesome gooey, warm centered brownie with a soft, moist outside layer and I hope they never stop cuz it basically restores faith in humanity every time you see one in your order.
Lastly, when you do order from them, please do consider ordering directly from their website/phone. Their delivery fee for me (1.5~2mi) was only $2.50. That's way less than all the delivery apps and their service fees for you, not to mention more money for the business (and you know, this way they don't have to raise the price just...

The dough is absolutely perfect. The crust is thick and airy with thin but supportive pie. The sauce might be the highlight though. It is flavorful and textured perfectly for pizza. There is also slightly more sauce than you would normally find on Neapolitan style but that is my preference and I love it that much more for being an outlier. The cheese is undoubtedly high quality and cooked perfectly. If I had any complaint there is just slightly too much cheese for how thin the pie is, but the flavor was balanced between all parts.
Once we finished and paid up, they insisted I take a brownie, Rice Krispie, etc for the road. On the house. I can't wait to go back and try...
