Extremely disappointed with this restaurant at Montrose location.
I’ve given them multiple chances despite previous mistakes — twice before they’ve either gotten my order wrong or left out items. This time, I placed a pickup order and clearly emphasized that everything needed to be correct. I ordered 2 beef, 1 chicken, 1 falafel sandwiches and 1 mixed grill and few other items.
When I got home, I found that they mislabeled the falafel sandwich as chicken — so I was missing the actual chicken sandwich. I called immediately, and after being placed on hold for over 10 minutes, I was told that the person who made the food “denied making a mistake” and that they’d need to review the security cameras first before deciding if I was telling the truth and eligible for a refund.
That is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never experienced such dismissive and unprofessional customer service. Mistakes happen — but the way they handled it was insulting and unacceptable. There was zero accountability, no apology, and no sense of urgency to make things right.
Save yourself the hassle — this location is consistently careless, rude, and disorganized. Spend your money somewhere else where customers are...
Read moreDon't let the location of this restaurant fool you because they make some pretty good Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food. It's located at the corner of Montrose and Clark in a strip mall. I started off my trying some of their drinks. I tried their mint lemonade and the mango drink. I really loved the mint lemonade. It's not a flavor that I think would go together, but it really worked. The mango drink was good, and for those who like it a bit on the sweeter side hits is the drink for you. I also enjoyed their food. Out of all of the dishes I tried, I loved the kabob combination plate the most. You get four types types of kabob, kafta, chicken, steak and chicken shawarma. The rice was fluffy and my favorite was the kafta kabob. The kafta kabob was juicy and delicious. Of the vegetarian dishes I tried, my favorite was the falafel. It was crispy and had a nice taste. Also, I liked there is plentiful free parking. Since it is located in strip mall, you have access to a large parking lot. This is always a plus in a city with many restrictions on street parking and expensive parking meters. Overall, if you want good Middle Eastern or Mediterranean food this is...
Read moreI ordered $75 worth of food 3 different plates and my entire family got food poisoning! We were sick for days it was horrible! Beware! Beware! Beware! When chicken is so tender it's flakes like fish that's because it's very cheap poor quality chicken that has been marinated overnight to make it tender and succulent so that you think you're getting top quality. During the marinating process or otherwise the food was contaminated. As you can see in the picture I barely nibbled because I knew something was wrong with the chicken but the rest of my family ate. Despite that we all got sick! Be very careful ordering out restaurants are not just unsanitary these days but they're using very cheap bad poor quality meat and chicken marinating it so that you think you have the best. I would pay not to eat from this place! There should be strict laws against these restaurants! DANGER BEWARE: LOOK FOR OVER MARINATED CHICKEN! IN MEXICAN AND SPANISH RESTAURANTS ASK THEM IF THEY BOIL THE MEAT BEFORE THEY PUT IT ON THE GRILL. IT'S THE SAME PROCESS MARINATING OR BOILING TO MAKE SOME FORM OF BAD MEAT TENDER AND...
