I saw a musical with a small orchestra here on a 2-weekend run, and this place is great. Student discounts for performances, easy e-ticketing and will call, comfy lounge, and not unreasonably priced concessions ($3 beer, $4 wine, $1 water bottles).
The space is intimate and efficient, ripe for creative use. And it's true that there is not a bad view in the house. Keep this in mind as you pick out your seat online, but note that the higher your seat number (in section 1, at least) the closer you are to the railing, and therefore the more people you have to squish past if you get there close to curtain.
Minus one star because the bleachers under the theater chairs became a 4-foot tomb for my cell phone (until my husband crawled under them to retrieve it--he said there's a treasure trove of purse-sized articles...
