I’m currently in the restaurant as I type. I called ahead because I’m at work going on break. I googled the number and asked “do you serve breakfast”? I was told yes can I place an order? The gentleman took my order I asked do you have a special he said no. I asked no combo’s he replied “no” then proceeded to pass the phone to a woman. She said hello. I said “hello”. How can I help you she asked. I said did the gentleman inform you of what I wanted? She repeated my order I asked “do you have specials or combos”. She said “what”. I replied I’ll be there in a second. I pulled up parked entered the establishment and sat down. I waited under a minute. I was greeted by the gentleman I just spoke with. I placed my order. I noticed he was slightly perturbed I asked about combos/specials. He said no. He rung up my order slid the check to me. I pulled out cash sat in the counter. He took it exchanged it and put it on top of the receipt. I jumped online to the website scrolled and found out they do actually have specials. I was a day late. I pointed out to the gentleman this is what I was talking about. Naturally he says “ this is not today” I say “I know, but this is special or combo I was talking about. The gentleman gets the woman I spoke with on the phone. I explained to her the same thing. She says “not today. I reiterated, that I’m aware, but this is a special and the gentleman said you don’t have it. I explained this to her twice. She said “ok”. I decided to eat in as opposed to taking it to go. The syrup was cold and poured slow and the butter was cold making my food cold, that and me typing while eating lol. Bacon was perfect hash browns so so. I received complimentary water and utensils. Break is almost over scarfed down remaining hash browns a tad cold by now. I was never checked on although it was only six people inside including the employees. Four bucks for a tip although it wasn’t service with a smile it was service. I exited without a word took my water and headed to my vehicle. I dropped my water it spilt on me, but surprisingly landed upward. I had a fourth left. Welp...

I definitely love the overall experience after visiting the place for the very first time. I went in here for the first time and I kinda regret not visiting the place sooner. I’ve known this place for a long time and my friend actually recommended it. First thing inside is their high bar stools and in the front is the kitchen and the staff. They also have outdoor seating and the place was pretty clean. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I was about to go outside for a better view and atmosphere but the staff really entertained me and I enjoyed watching them making the food. I just ordered a breakfast burrito and a vanilla milkshake. They also have a wide menu and there are a lot of options either, burgers and anything you could ask for is available in their menu and of course, at a very reasonable price, Service is quick and the burrito has a huge portion when it is served to me. I definitely like their breakfast burrito. Everything seems to be good in it and the flavors are all in there. The milkshake is pretty good too. My first time would definitely not be the last and I will definitely be back and will surely try other delicious...

This place is a little hole in the wall, and I say that with all the love 💖!!!

The staff are amazing and a wonder to watch,

With the small space(counter seating only, and the tiny kitchen), how consistently busy they are, and the random douchey customers I've seen them deal with, with nothing but kindness and respect, they're miracle workers. Delicious miracle workers 😆.

If you can speak Spanish they're hilarious and kind, if you can't they'll still be hilarious and kind just in English.

Anyways, my recommendations, the coffee milkshake is bomb. Best coffee milkshake I've ever had.

The veggie skillet is amazing!!!! So many veggies, I was not expecting such quality food and ingredients from a "hole in the wall". I was so pleasantly surprised!!!!

The chilaquiles were also exceptional!!! I am a vegetarian and asked if I could add broccoli to them, and was not disappointed 😊!!!!

My friend always gets the Mexican skillet, the chorizo looks and smells incredible!!!!

The best part about this place, is that other than the food and amazing employees, it's open 24 hours and is impossibly cheap!!!

Tip them all your...

This place is awesome. This is my favorite Chicago diner, hands down. It's in a converted tiny old boxcar. While there is not much room inside, this quaint diner was recently remodeled and is kept very clean. They cook your food in front of you and often play 90's Alternative music videos on their TV. The food tastes AMAZING, thanks to their capable cooks. The staff are friendly and work hard. I wish I could give 10 stars for their bathroom as well. Although the diner is very small, the single-bathroom is roomy. It is the cleanest bathroom you will probably ever see at a diner. They clean it continually throughout the day, and it is IMMACULATE! It smells clean and looks clean. Very impressive! I can't say enough good things about this place. I just wish the aisle behind the counter stools could be 6" wider. They do a good job with the space they do have, however.
