Been going here with the family a lot and mostly positive reviews but our most recent visit made us reconsider.
When we first came into the restaurant, we saw some food on one of the table with candles which made us wonder what the nice setup was for. We asked for tea and they didn't even have any which we thought was really weird as it was only 6pm. Less than 5 minutes sitting down, we just left the restaurant.
What really made us leave the restaurant and cancel our order was when the food placed on the table was for religious reasons as we saw one of the workers performing some sort of offering using burning incense. The burning incense smelled terrible and made us completely loose our appetite. We thought it was inappropriate to perform this in a public restaurant. We asked what the burning incense was for and if it was for offering to the dead but they wouldn't say anything. Performance like this is what made us decide not to come back to this restaurant.
We enjoy your food. We are religious as well but please keep religious activities that involves a burning incense...

I had to hand my son a piece of candy to hold his hunger because he was watching other people eat so i handed him candy so he would stop crying and screaming because i felt bad. What got me to get out angry was when i saw other costumers that ordered after me got their food before me and my son and i paid already. I felt very terrible seeing my son was looking at other people eat i felt very angry and bad that we were put after other costumers when we ordered first and my son is a baby. I paid before i got my order. I was very angry. I walked out and didnt get my money back because i could not stand waiting any longer and i just wanted to put a bad review after this experience. I read other reviews and realized they are racists too and dont care if you have a child to feed. This restaurant does not even...
Read moreI recently ordered from HoneyMoon through Uber Eats and was extremely disappointed with my experience. I asked the driver if they could get me a small chili sauce on the side. To my surprise, the driver informed me that the restaurant only offers a large size and it is not free, which is just ridiculous.
I've dined at numerous Chinese restaurants before, and they’re always accommodating when it comes to extra sauces. Requiring customers to purchase a larger size just to satisfy a simple request feels inconsiderate and greedy. As a long-time customer, this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.
Shame on you, HoneyMoon. I won’t be ordering...
