I saw the place that had 3 of my favorite things in one spot, wings and Ramen and Pho, I decided to give it a try. It's located in a publix strip mall right next to a traditional American Chinese restaurant most people are used to. Walking in, it was kind of plain, looked basically set up with the expectation of mostly take out. There were chairs and tables to dine in of course but there was not a big investment on the dining area. There was definitely alot to choose from on the menu. I quickly moved from the idea of ordering the wings, the price was not reasonable for me which was disappointing, I was looking forward to trying their wings. They had a hibachi section, a Ramen section and a Pho section. I chose the chicken Ramen, the description sounded delicious it had alot of extras in it. My friend chose the hibachi chicken rice. We also ordered Gyoza, the pork dumpling. We decided to dine in, Ramen and pho doesn't really travel well and I wanted my food fresh and hot. The dumplings came out pretty quickly, they brought it right to the table. That was unexpected but pleasing. Most places that look like this from my experience call you up to come get your own food. The dish the dumplings were in was cute also. They tasted very good with the ponzu sauce. Then our food came out. Portion size matched the price to me. My Ramen was delicious. My friend enjoyed her rice which came with a 2oz ramekin of yum yum sauce. Would have been nice to have a little more, so I went up to ask for more. 50cents each.!!. I figured it would cost but 50 cents not 25 not 35, it was 2 ounces.. Anyway the food was surprisingly good. I would order again but only if I have the time to sit and eat. I would not travel with that food, unless you order the...
Read moreThis place is a hidden gem. They have a little bit of everything, and it all tastes good. The service is good, the restaurant is always clean. They make HUGE chicken tenders. Don't complain about the price, you get plenty for your money. They also have pretty good pho'. The chicken is my favorite. Also, if you like yum-yum sauce and chicken fried rice, get their chicken hibachi rice, it's AMAZING! It's actually a one of a kind place. If you like Japanese, Vietnamese, and classic options, this is a good place to go. It's my new go to for take out. I recommend it, especially if you live here in town. It's a short distance from anywhere. I have updated my review to include some recent photos of my food. Look at the portions! 2 of these items are actually side orders and fed 3 people. For those complaining about pricing, they are cheaper and provide a lot more than the Chinese place next door. They are not stingy on their portions. I always have leftovers after spending 52 dollars including tip and feeding a family of 3. This is a business worthy...

I reviewed Tasty Wings and Ramen a year ago, and I’m happy to say it’s just as incredible now as it was then! We started with the gyoza again, and they’re still absolutely perfect. The sauce they serve with them? Still freaking amazing!
This time, my wife and I went with the Chicken Katsu Ramen with Tonkotsu broth and added pork chashu as an extra topping. It was just as comforting and delicious as we remembered—exactly what we needed on a cold January Saturday.
I’m still in disbelief that this gem is in a strip mall next to a Publix. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re seriously missing out!
ORIGINAL POST: family and I recently visited Tasty Wings & Ramen, and it was fantastic! I ordered the chicken and shrimp yakasoba, my wife had the chicken and pork Ramen, and my son tried the spicy pork ramen. Every dish was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. If you're in the Lake Wales area, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be...
