Burger King — Restaurant in Lake Wales

This was an unforgettable experience! First I would like to say is I love BurgerKing! specially 90’s version! But today was an experience that brought me back to the futuristic 90’s! The burger for the first time in a while was Freshly made! The burger was basically what they advertise everything from the bun to the crispy lettuce the extra onions I requested to the whopper patties was fresh and I mean Fresh it definitely was a made to order Whopper! which is how it should be! I rather wait and get a fresh whopper than get a rushed up whopper thats probably been sitting for 5 to 10 minutes! BurgerKing I think I found the issue with how you portrayed your chain. Burgerking should not a fast food joint, It should categorize the same as Five Guys or Burger Fi, still keep your drive through but make sure your customers know there will be a wait! anyway back to the review! this Whopper was excellent oh and lets not forget the sides we ordered Onion rings, never have I ever that i can recollect have received Freshly cooked onions rings! ok maybe i have but i cant recall it! Maybe at another time things would've been better, but today not so great. I ordered a #10 meal, a chicken sandwich, I also asked for extra mayo since usually condiments run scarce. The person waiting on me got my name wrong, instead of Don he heard Dillan, no big deal, I can simply raise my hand when they call out my new name. Then I went to fill my soda, I made my selection and chose Coke, I pressed the button and at the half way point it stopped. I pressed the button again and it was not responsive, oh well, I'll just move over to the other machine which worked normally. While I was filling my cup the other machine started dispensing more Coke and wouldn't stop. That's OK, not my problem. Then there were no covers for the cups, someone who came to check out the defective machine said he'd get some covers, he never returned. I asked someone else behind the counter for one and he did. I got my order to go, got in the car and noticed that the sandwich wrapper was covered in mayo (be careful what you ask for). I wiped off what I could and then found the sandwich gushing with mayo. I squeezed the excess out and was good to go. Last but not least, the fries were the last ones left of the last batch and they were all about an inch to an inch and a half long. I stopped by this BK to use restroom and get a quick snack for the remainder of my ride home to Vero Beach. The bathroom for women was half clean, handicapped stall was clean inside toilet and in the little stall. The other stall was filthy, you totally didn't want to even squat over the toilet it was that bad and so was the floor and the sink outside the handicapped stall. Then there is only 3 people in the whole main area to do cooking, take care of drive thru and front counter, and to run the food to customers outside waiting for items to be cooked. I ordered chicken nuggets and asked for honey mustard and a soda. That was 5.11, I said why so much? She wasn't even paying attention to me, I paid and moved over. While waiting for the order, she's giving drive thru orders that are for the front and almost giving food to go in front area to drive thru customers. Then the clerk she gave my order to comes from drive thru area, calls my name, I approach, hands me the bag of chicken nuggets and walks away. I looked inside for my dipping sauce, none inside. I asked may I have honey mustard packets. Was handed to me like it was a bother. There were people waiting their before I got my order and after I got my order for a while. Needless to say, no customer was happy with the service...
