Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Lake Wales

It was 10 something (pm), and my cousin and Grandma called them and wanted 36 wings (Parm and Garlic&Plain wings) with cinnomon buns. We wanted it delivery, and they said it was going to be a 40 min wait. We waited for over an hour. My Grandma came and asked is it here yet, we said no and we waited over an hour. We called to see what happend, and this is how it went. We called and told them whe had a delivery order and we were waiting over an hour. They put us on hold. When they came back they said there were no orders that were similar. My Grandma asked were they sure and they said yes. She asked how did this happen, and they said there computer must have went down and the order didnt go threw. They said it happens a lot and my Grandma said that is ridiculous. She asked could she order again and they said they were closed. She was tired of this and hung up. Since it was already 11, it was a little hard finding a new place. My husband and I has not been to a Pizza Hut buffet for years. (Hard to find) Some we were so excited to try the lunch buffet. When we arrived and went up to the bar, there was nothing there but breadsticks. So we sat down thinking, we maybe there was a bigg rush and someone ate everything. I asked the waitress where the food was and she apologized saying that the cook is working on bringing food out. We sat waiting and around 20 minutes later the kitchen brought ONE small pizza out to the buffet and everyone sitting waiting for food ran up to the buffet for a slice. By the time we got to the bar everything was gone because there has been people sitting and waiting for something to come out of that kitchen. We should have asked for our money back, because it was not a buffet. It was a buffet without food. I'm seriously not making this up. After this, I'm never going to a Pizza Hut Buffet again. For $12.99 a person, I'm going to Golden Corral. At least...

Don't bother asking for special instructions. Not once have I gotten square cut. Otherwise, well cooked and friendly. The pickup window takes longer than it should. 30 minutes to go through 8 cars ahead of me today.

I go to Pizza Hut weekly. I order the same thing every week. One pizza I ask to have cut in squares. Guess how many times the lake wales store has done it. If you guessed 1 time out of thirty orders, you’d be right. Guess how many times the Avon park store has done it. EVERY SINGLE TIME! I hate to drive 20 minutes further for pizza. But the lake wales store is a disaster. Pizzas are cut wrong and always over cooked and overall just taste bad compared to every other pizza place in the area. Its location to me is the only reason I keep trying... but those chances are running out quickly.

I call every time the pizza is cut wrong and I only get an “I’m sorry” and then an abrupt hang up. NEVER have I gotten to talk...
