Dunkin' — Restaurant in Lakehurst

There on 8/15/19 at 3pm. My boyfriend Ordered a ice machito at driveup window. Kid taking the order did not know what he was doing. Pulled up to window and elderly woman took money. A young man of color was trying to make my drink but obviously had no clue what he was doing. Waited at the window for 10 minutes and no one told me why the long delay. I drove my car off the line and went in to find out what was wrong. The male worker heard me ask what the delay was and he started hollering that the machine didn’t work. I said I wanted my money back and he became billigerent and abusive and threatened me. I told him to back off at which time he turned his back and cursed me and said talk to his back, I asked for his managers name and he wouldn’t give it to me. I asked for his name and he told me “Mike” and that I better leave. If this little punk came at me again I would have defended myself and floored him. I reported him to DD customer service and will pursue this with the Franchise owner, This little punk should not be dealing with the public. Ordered the other day on the app. Picked up my coffee and it tasted burnt, didn't taste right at all Now, I've had that happen in other stores thru the years and usually they get defensive saying it's not. Anyway, I walked back and and told them and the young guy in the asked if I'd like him to remake it(someone else made it) with a smile . I said yes and in a flash I had my coffee correctly, a great attitude from him, and walked out a happy customer. More customer service should be like him & his coworker. I will definitely go there more often because my other one acts like I'm bothering them when I go in and puts your coffee down on the other side and walks away .. Location is so bizarre, they lose a star. Make sure you enter that first driveway like you're going for the 76 station because the next driveway is exit only! Service from the women working today was great! My wife ordered a frozen chocolate drink and was treated extremely nice and with smiles. The location was clean and it wasn't crowded at all. Wi-Fi was pretty bad though so that should be improved. Companies know that if you have great Wi-Fi people will come and order something just to use it! So that's a win win for the companies and the customers that Need it! Our visit was in May 2017, so maybe things have changed since the negative reviews.
