The food is awesome and the employees are very nice, but the reason I’m giving two stars is for customer service. I don’t believe in the customer is always right but customer service is everything. I’ve been eating here for years but through all this time, giving chance after chance, nothing has changed. Even with multiple complaints directly to the owner. First, I used to go in and order but the wait would be so long, I started trying to call it in. That’s a no go as well. For example, I would call in and they would say your food will be ready in, let’s just say 20 minutes. You take your time and get there in 30. Your food is still not ready. That would be fine if you didn’t have to wait another 20 minutes for them to do whatever to fix it. That’s almost an hour wait for a call in depending on how you look at it. This is every time. It doesn’t matter if they’re busy or not. It’s NEVER ready with a call in. So don’t go on your lunch break because all of your time will be spent waiting no matter if you call it in or not. Second, it’s ALWAYS a million degrees in the restaurant. Which that is fine BUT not when you have people waiting for long periods of time. Yes you can stand outside but I’m afraid if I do, they won’t fix it because they will think “you left”. Third, they don’t write anything down. You’re constantly having to repeat what you ordered when you have multiple orders. Then, if they do decide to write it down after you informed them of your multiple orders, they will let you finish and then ask you to wait so they can go write it. Therefore you have to tell them again. I’ve given them a break and stopped going for maybe a year. Just recently started going back and it seems to be worse. I’m not trying to down their business or anything but I wish they would do better with their service after all this time. I will no...
Read moreThis has been our go to spot for authentic Jamaican food for 5 years now. My husband was raised in a Jamaican household and this is the closest he gets to his dad's food, so it really tastes like home to him. We love their jerk chicken/oxtail/curry meals but make sure to always come for their Cowfoot soup on Thursdays. It's creamy, the perfect amount of broth thickness, and every bowl has a tender cow foot in it along with dumplings and veggies. 10/10 rated soup. We recommend also getting it with a warm coco bread for dipping! P.s when ordering a meal with rice, ask for the oxtail gravy over the rice, it's amazing too. mon- Friday 11-2 they do $6.99 lunch special of curry...
Read moreI called the restaurant BEFORE opening hours to place an order. I don't live in FL but my mom is a FL resident. Ms. Shelly took my order. She was quite patient with me, very courteous and professional. She didn't take advantage of my situation by over charging me for the menu items. I'm not sure they even deliver, but since she was understanding of my situation, she accepted to deliver and charged a VERY REASONABLE home delivery fee. In addition to that, my mom said the food was very good quality and very delicious. Quality and quantity, a rare combination. I recommend this place without hesitation!!! Two...
