I filed a complaint through Domino's corporate website on January 2nd of this year. I received an automated e-mail response stating that the Domino’s Customer Support team will make sure my comments are directed appropriately. Maybe my comments were directed appropriately. I have no way of knowing. I was expecting some form of follow up communication. I never received any further communication (Dominos had my contact info). However, I did start getting e-mails for current Domino’s deals/promos. I wasn't looking for any deep discounts or free stuff. So, now I’m here………I had to choose a one-star review rating because zero stars is not offered as an option. Here’s my Zero-star experience: The evening of January 1st I placed an order with Domino's for delivery from the Middle Valley/Lakesite TN store. I received an e-mail letting me know it would be an hour and a half. No problem. An hour and fifty-eight minutes later I receive a call from Domino's telling me they couldn't deliver my order due to bad weather and concern for driver safety, but I could come pick my order up. Really!! I was shocked. I believe I spoke with Chris. If the weather had actually been bad enough to compromise driver safety, I would have been completely understanding. There were some thunderstorms moving through at the time, but it was mostly mild to light rain with some periods of heavy rain. I’m 100% certain they had not completely stopped making deliveries. Make that 1,000%. Not 10 minutes before the call from Domino's, Papa John's delivered to my neighbor. During the worst of the rain a Marco's driver came up the road. While on the phone with Chris I cancelled the Domino's order and called Pizza Hut. Not what I really wanted, but..……...order to delivery, 35 minutes. Wow!!! Kudos to Pizza Hut. I gave the Pizza Hut driver the $20 tip I was going to give to the Domino’s driver. I don't know the real reason Domino's chose not to make the delivery, but it certainly wasn't because of the weather. How very, very unprofessional!!! I’m more than certain the franchise owner does not condone his employees operating in this manner, but it...
Read moreWe moved to Middle Valley area from Michigan just under a year ago, and with 12 day old twins at the time. To say that we've ordered our fair share of pizzas is an understatement(with two older kids and two infants, plus working 60+ hours/week, who has time to cook?!). Ever since Domino's revamped their menu and recipes, it's been amazing!! But this review is not just about the food - it's about the quality of service we get from this particular location.
We tend to order online, so we get to see who's making and even delivering our order (I even creeped on the delivery kid once by asking if he was Colby - HE WAS!) .... of the 1billion+ times we've ordered from this location in the past year, never one order the same, Jeffrey is the most common pizza maker - and this must be his calling because he has NEVER gotten our order wrong. Ever. To be fair, nobody else at this location has either - but given the number of times Jeffrey specifically has been our pizza maker, he, in particular, is worth calling out. BRAVO.
The delivery teams - of which, we've had many - your guys (I don't think we've ever had a female delivery person) are always friendly and prompt. In fact, we've even had one delivery driver that's asked about the twins - he mentioned he likes to "remember his clients stories, as it makes a better experience for the customer". ....Is this real life?
So, to the guy (Jeffrey) that feeds my husband once we've finally tricked all of our children into bed, and the guy who remembers (EVERY TIME!) not to ring the doorbell, because we specifically state "sleeping children", and of course, to the manager(s) that are keeping this staff satisfied enough to continue to come to work each day - I COMMEND YOU.
Thank you, The overwhelmed family with no friends or family in the area, and wayyyy too...
Read moreThis location could use some serious training on Customer Service. My husband and I order on the app often and suddenly it was notifying us that "delivery is not available in our area." Off, considering we order MULTIPLE times a month (most recently 3 days ago). We called and we're treated extremely disrespectfully by a young girl who was short, seemed annoyed that she even had to answer the phone, cut us off and eventually disconnected the call before we got our question answered. We called back twice. Gave our address 6 (S.I.X.) times before she got it right. She told us they definitely do deliver to our house, but not if we order on the app (again, we ALWAYS do because you get a free pizza every 6 orders [ps - this is order #6 and should be free]). We ask to speak to a manager and the lady argues with us and tries to explain it again and take our order over the phone (WHERE ITS NOT FREE WHICH IS WHY WE'RE EVEN ORDERING TODAY). After finally speaking to a manager, she took $3 off, and said she'd "override" the delivery restrictions (THAT APPARENTLY DON'T EXIST). Needless to say, we didn't feel heard at all, were talked to disrespectfully, and paid for our pizza after we've ordered 5 in the past to obtain this "free" one. Very very...
