McDonald's — Restaurant in Lakesite

This place...Heaven Help It!!!! What a train wreck!!!!

I want to love everything in Soddy and Lakesite as someone who lives on Big Ridge, but most folks at this McD' location act like they hate their job (too many employees don't look clean, tidy, showered, and concerned about cleanliness for themselves, their jobs and their customers...ewwww).

Today, several McD employees looked like they rolled out of bed and into work with glassy eyes and matted hair (yuck to think these folks are cooking food for the general population)! Too many folks seem to act like they resent customers for troubling them by placing an order! How dare, right???

These folks don't care about you, your order, your life, your business, your hard earned dollars being spent at their location, etc. Need I say more? Probably nor but I will, anyway...

I've called to speak to management. I called management to speak to the owner. When I asked whom might own the business, the manager said, "Uhhhhhh, I dunno." #Seriously

Sadly, our family's repeated experiences have left us with the overwhelming sense that zombies fill the positions here (other than we don't believe in zombies... but you get the general idea that this is not a happening sort of establishment).

We went by this location, recently, for a simple, simple order & McD's employees could not get it right.

No one apologized. No one thanked us for our business. We were handed incorrect items without words. If we're able to extract any human words from a McD's employee, it is most commonly an employee shoving our order toward us and saying, "Here." #Underwhelmed

No one is Customer Service Oriented. No one even looks at you as a human being (the employees might have to look up from their cell phones...go ahead....gasp in horror at such a thought) or they may have to look up from their glazed stare at the McD's floor tiles.

SO DONE with this location, and probably completely finished with McDonald's everywhere across Chattanooga and the United States.

Customer Service is non-existent.

If you should choose to hire human beings who are kind, nice, grateful, and pleasant to the general population, let us know. Otherwise, sadly, you are being cut out of our routine, and we're going to be finding a new place for a shot of caffeine each morning. #BusinessLost

Goodbye McDonald's in Lakesite! Goodbye to McDonald's everywhere. It's sad to see an American Icon die a slow and painful death, but if you cannot act like a decent human being to patrons, you have relinquished your position as being a viable candidate for business.

Hoping these words for this description are understood by someone, somewhere!!! Look them up in this thing called a dictionary if you need to do so!

You have lost our family's business to another business, which cares more about people and appreciates our family for spending our dollars with them!

Typical McDonald's food. I am editing this review as of May 13 2024. On that date my wife and I entered McDonald's at Lakeside at approximately 11:45 and there were zero customers inside. In fact the only booth that was occupied was one that had at least one possibly two McDonald's employees and apparently a couple of friends gorgeous carrying on. We ordered a quarter pounder with cheese plain and a fish sandwich with extra sauce combos. The quarter pounder with cheese that was supposed to be plain came out completely adorned it as they normally fix it and my wife had to take it back and wait almost 10 minutes to get what she had ordered. Buy fish sandwich combo was a laugh as you can see by the picture the Patty of fish was by actual measurement two and a half by 3 and 1/4 in and the slice of cheese if you want to call it that because it was so barely thin was one inch wide and the fish was very dry as if it was on hold for an hour or more and not very tasty. By the way for the entire 40 minutes that were on the property there were no other individuals that sat down to eat which I guess explains everything . What follows is our previous two visits. The fries were below par compared to other fries in the area and the fish sandwich was dry and not very tasty in fact the best part of the sandwich was a sauce. Their tea dispensers were empty and also the ketchup dispenser. We had to go to the counter to get those items. The only change is the fries were barely warm if that and there was tea in the dispensers. Other than that nothing has changed Same Old McDonald's. Decided to go back again to McDonald's to try their McRib sandwich which is a seasonal sandwich and while I rate it over their cheeseburgers it's nothing to write home about. Fries again we're barely warm and very limp and the ketchup dispensers were totally empty which forced us to use those unwieldy ketchup packets. Very poor service food was barley warm. the service was long. Housekeeping was poor. Working 3 people on a Saturday night with inadequate training no one peer checking and very unorganized at least have someone there with there A game helping. or just close it down when you don't have adequately trained personnel working. start training and retrain personnel call it just in time training. Not sure if this store is a franchise or corporate someone need to check this place out. not just during the day but at night. I do not want my money back because i did not get a receipt like always Kiosk out of paper every time the manager busy trying to make food and put orders together. It's really not their issues it the personnel doing the training. management. They should have a 2-minute pre job brief when they start there shift and communication would be helpful when making orders. I watch them work none of the 3 are communicating or calling orders. And if your short staff and only have 3 people working close the drive thru or the dining room because the quality of the product is bad. or close the store at 4 until you get personnel organized and trained.
