PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE EATING GOODFELLAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used to love Goodfellas, but after what happened to me this past weekend I will never return, and strongly encourage people to read this review before putting themselves at risk. First, let me start off by saying I used to love Goodfellas, it was a nice alternative to Ole Piper since it was a lot closer to my house, but this past weekend was literally a life changing experience. It all started on Friday night at about 10 p.m. when I went to Goodfellas to order a pizza to-go, I ordered a medium Deluxe pizza. I waited for 15-20 minutes like I have so many times in the past and then got the pizza and left. When I got home I began eating the pizza, and everything tasted normal as usual. After eating the pizza and watching a little TV with my wife, I went to sleep feeling 100 percent normal. That's when it all started. I awoke at about 2 a.m. with a really upset stomach, less than a minute after I woke up, I was kissing the toilet throwing up violently. I then went back to bed, 30 minutes later I was awoken again with the sudden urge to throw up again, so I went and threw up...another 30 minutes, repeat. It lasted like that from 2 a.m. until 2 p.m. the next day!!!!!!!!!!!! At one point I almost had my wife rush me to the ER for IV fluids because I was so dehydrated from throwing up so much. I had never had food poisoning before, but without a shadow of a doubt, that is exactly what I got from eating pizza, PIZZA for god sake! I would understand if I ate a rare steak, or bad shellfish, but how difficult is it to make a pizza correctly without almost killing someone?!?!? I hope that the health inspector goes there in the near future and shuts them down. I wouldn't wish food poisoning on even my worst enemy, it is the worst I have ever felt in my entire life, and I have broken bones, had surgeries, gotten tattoos, and all those were a cakewalk compared to the food poisoning I got from Goodfellas. Please save yourself the pain and trouble and just avoid this place at all costs!!! If you try Goodfellas, good luck! You will need it so you don't almost die! They are a lawsuit waiting to happen, because I'm a 23 year old man with a healthy immune system who was able to get over the food poisoning, but if an elderly person got sick from it, they would surely not be able to beat it that...
Read moreI don't understand the positive reviews. Maybe it's because it was Sunday night, but the pizza was the worst I've ever had. Sentiment was shared by the other 3 adults I had dinner with. Believe me, they ARE NOT picky eaters, but we all thought it was gross. We ordered 2 Margherita pizzas. These do not have red sauce, just olive oil with garlic cheese and some tomatoes on top. It's supposed to be a light pizza. This was heavy, oily, and I couldn't even identify the cheese. We also ordered macaroni bites, which were not crispy, & were flavorless. Then we ordered a meatza, which I didn't try because my stomach was upset from the other pizza. Also ordered a side salad which was OK. The lettuce was crispy at least. I will definitely not try this place again. My stomach is upset just thinking about this horrible food. What a waste of money. So disappointing because we have a large family & seldom order out, because it's expensive. This was supposed to be a treat. Seemed more...
Read moreI've been going to Goodfellas on and off since early 2010 and the food/service has always been phenomenal but sadly it seems as though Goodfellas is somewhat a shell of its former self. Between my buddy and I we ordered 3 pizzas and all three were quite doughy, the toppings were much lighter than they used to be, and the dough seems different as well. The service left a lot to be desired, my boneless wings came out after our pizzas and not to mention the server took my beer before I was even finished with it (luckily she had already brought me a new one). In all honesty if that had been my first time at Goodfellas I probably would not return.. that being said - I will definitely give it another try and see how things go. I'm just bummed that the pot roast pizza and the spicy chicken bacon alfredo pizza aren't what...
