Best Burgers — Restaurant in Lakewood

LOLUPDATE just said SCREW it let me give this place another shot. I go in here today 5/7/2024 and I got my food and grabbed a burger right out of the bag as soon as they handed it to me and tooke one bite and its COLD. They need to do some SERIOUS changes here. WHERES THE OWNER? They are NOT stepping in and taking charge on this issue. MY FOOD IS COL 9/10 TIMES I GO IN THERE. WHAT IS GOING ON? This is quite NASTY and ridiculous. Fire and re hire do some food quality checks or do SOMETHING. Its literally disgusting.

On a once in a blue mood day these guys are a 10/10! But - every single time I go here my food is always COLD. Burgers are always cold. Like they’ve been sitting out for 30 minutes with a draft coming in from the window.

They are VERY good burgers but why are they cold? The cheese is always barely melted and the burger is cold.

I love this place. Hands down one of the best burger places around.

If you like Burger King but hate how nasty it is inside / how the workers don’t care there then this is the place for you!

I saw other comments about how they were cold and I went here the other day and I thought management might of saw something cause for once in my food journey here it was HOT! I almost went back for a 3rd burger how good and hot it was.

This place really needs to step up this and get it under control

Now, I've been all over the country and have gotten the opportunity to eat at some of the coolest places around. I don't like getting dressed up to go somewhere just to eat ribs, chicken, or even burgers, but I do enjoy putting on an old T-shirt with the expectation of some type of sauce or cheese 🧀 and I have no choice but to wipe my hands on that shirt, and Best Burgers is indeed that place!. My wife and I were told that if we wanted a really good place to get that backyard style 🍔 burger and fries 🍟 that are better than McDonald's, then head over to Best Burgers. I am going to 100% be upfront about the food, it's so much better than McDonald's and cheaper! My wife and I both ordered a cheese burger, fries, and drink meals, we also got two(2) sides of the ranch and two(2) sides of fry sauce. Everything with tax included came to less than $20! Now, if you're expecting some kind of monster burger and an overflowing tub of fries, then you're in the wrong drive-thru. It's a generous sized hamburger, and the fries are portioned perfect for what you pay, and the overall quality definitely holds up against most chain restaurants. Best Burgers has that beach community vibe without the beach, and they are still family owned for more than 33 years. It's great, simple food and will definitely be a place to remember. I've gone to that place for about 28 yrs on and off depending on where I live ... I've gone a lot the last past 6 yrs ... I actually don't do reviews but I owe it to these wonderful people ... It's a family owned place the children who are adults work there too ... Not only is the family genuinely humble and nice they go out of their way to please their customers and the quality of food they serve is the best anywhere around especially when you think of " fast food " ... Your getting real beef not fillers I believe they buy a lot if not all their products from Costco ... Their Garden burgers are great currently loving the black bean one full of protein and cooked perfectly ... crunchy just enough but not tuff at all ... They have amazing fries and their fish and chips are just as good as the best restaurant ...

People go past it everyday and don't notice it's there and go to McDonald's or whatever ... If you want real food ( you'll pay a little more ) But it's real food and your body will thank you ... Support the mom and pop places they've got enough customers they don't need me to advertise trust that however ... Great family Great food Great people ... They got a drive through and picnic tables ... I wanted to Thank the family for all the years they've served me and the years yet to come appreciate you ... Love...
