Blazing Bird - Nashville Hot Chicken Lakewood — Restaurant in Lakewood

I always come to eat here, and I just cannot stop eating at this location or at any Blazing Bird restaurant in general. This place is a vibe, and my favorite blazing bird location. My most favorite item on the menu is number 13 which is 3 jumbo tenders, and I go with their medium heat level. All their heat levels are NO joke, so I would take it easy if it’s your first time. 2nd favorite item on their menu is #3 The Early Bird (comes with an egg which is very delicious). All their food is Nashville and they ALWAYS serve everything fresh! They also have everything in stock. The cashier that works here is very respectful even to homeless people. Every time I come here, this place feels like it’s brand new because of how clean he keeps this restaurant. The bathrooms are clean, and they always keep the fountain drinks maintained. I Highly recommend this place...

Was recommend by friends and was close to where we were, so went with it. I was on the app and wanted "the bird", the picture showed a piece of chicken twice the size of the bun, went with extra spicy.. the spice was on point but my chicken was smaller then the bun! Also, it was listed at $7.99 for the sandwich on the website, but when I ordered, it was $10.39 on the app. There was more bun than chicken so not sure where the extra large tender went to when the chicken is smaller than bun (sadly Chick-fil-A has a bigger chicken patty or what you call it).. fries were tasty but ordered a large for 2, and a large is the size of a medium for 1, at best. Flavors are good but portions for size and price is not a great...wouldnt recommend personally but might be up to the location but be ware that expectations vs price vs actual food might not be what you are...

Make sure you check your orders before you drive home people. This is the Second time eating at this place and they messed our order up again. Seems like the day shift just cant get an order right to save their life. Why even work if you cant provide decent service. This place will not last long with this kind of service going on. Nothing like driving back to a restaurant and waiting in line AGAIN! to get the food you ordered the first time. Love that they ask for a tip BEFORE your food comes out. I will NEVER return to this restaurant again. The kind of service that ruins your appetite and the kind of service that makes you lose faith in the food industry altogether.
