Edit- The upload option is available on this phone for some reason. Top:What I ordered. Bottom: What I got. 😂😂😂 they should add this ironic depiction of generational laziness to the menu and call the "Gen Z". Don't put Quesadilla in the name, that'd be too much work. Ok, so to be fair, there was a massive language barrier. Employees only knew English greetings/thanks/compliments??... I had ordered a quesadilla through doordash for store pick up. I get there early, so I walk up and I order horchata, a churo and flan. 20 minutes later I receive those 3 items. As I receive them I ask where my doordash order is. To which the employee responds "🤙 wessup BROH" and I say wassup bro back, and we bump fists, because I'm not frighin rude.... But I also then pull out my phone to show him the DD order, and I hold my phone out towards him. He has no idea, what I'm doing... He smiles and puts his fist out again and nods with misplaced enthusiasm.... I drop my head in disappointment, realize I'm being a bag used for feminine care, immediately put my phone in my other hand and we fist bump an additional time.... TO BE CLEAR- guy seemed chill- that's not my beef. I suddenly remember some Mexican from high school and say "El Door Dash?" a To which he says "Ohhhhhhh sorry sorry sorry, jaja" and closes the window.... Ok... Maybe 10-15 minutes pass, and I'm starving, so I decide to go eat what Ive got with this homeless guy that's right around the corner that I passed on the way in. The churos and flan are wrapped seperately, in small paper bags. I go for the churos, which end up not being like the picture at all. They're little triangles that are puffed up like a massive 3D dorrito covered in cinnamon. I figure it's just some cheap version of churo you can buy in bulk from Costco or something, idc cause they're fire, and so is the sauce, and the homeless guy agrees, but he's laughing at me cause he thinks they're not churros. I tell him dude, listen.... I'm american, and you're homeless, these are cheap churros, ok? And then I open up the bag with the Flan, and it's like, a real fuggin regular churo..... America 0, Homeless 1... Anyway. Like 30 minutes pass. So long that me n Harold(Homeless guy) have gotten through a discussion about the metaphysical foundations of über die erhaltung der kraft... Ive almost forgotten Im ever here for food. And then..My food finally arrives at the window, and I take off without saying bye to Harold.(sorry Harold, you're cool man). And I shall show you what I received, and what I thought I was receiving. I paid $15 for this quesadilla bc it was supposed to have extra cheese... actually, I don't think they allow photos(They do on my samsung! Go look!), and neither would I. But imagine 1 piece of kraft cheese between 2 microwaved tortillas. That's what I got. Now go look at the Pic of the quesadilla on their Google...
Read moreWe stopped into Del Sol Express on a whim leaving the Lowe's across the street. We sure are glad we did! As previous reviewers mention, it does take a minute for them to prepare your food as they cook to order, but oh wow is it worth it! Definitely the BEST breakfast burrito I've had in years, and certainly the best I've tried in Colorado (since moving from Texas). They cooked all the ingredients together sort of like an omelet, then wrapped it up in a fresh, chewy but well browned flour tortilla... I am getting hungry again just thinking about it! My wife got the 3 rolled tacos / or whatever #9 was on their menu, she said it was the best Mexican food she's had out here as well. We both had the same "oh wow" reaction when we took our first bites of food. SO GOOD. Definitely coming back again, even though we usually have very little reason to visit this...
Read moreSo! I love going here. Food is good. Service is ok, friendly for sure, but a wee bit slow sometimes. But the food taste fresh! The prices are reasonable, but close to a dine-in restaurant. The thing that gets under my skin, is having them hand me a credit card machine to automatically add an 18%, 20%, or 25%, tip for handing me my food. I know food costs are higher, so maybe this is how restauranteurs are making up for wages, but expecting a gratuity like that when it’s not full service is a little ridiculous, especially when the “fast food costs” are about as high as a dine in restaurant. This is becoming the norm at many fast casual/food places it seems, and it’s getting a little tiring. It makes me want...
