Update: With staff change, when working with Missy specifically, service easily went from a 2 to a 5 star experience. :)

2.5-3.0 stars… I really wanted to give 5 stars, as the location and atmosphere are pretty cool. The overall culture however felt very cliquish and unsavory for a newcomer. Despite their being a range from new to seasoned kava/kratom users in the group I had gone with we were all spoken to like children, and when mentioning having used (x) before, the guy working kept ignoring anything mentioned saying “yeah I’d recommend that instead” also he said he didn’t have anymore of a additive to the beverages we’d ordered and not a minute later his “regular” came in who also happened to be an attractive female and he immediately had some of the addative, and the kratom yea he also claimed to be out of. Very unwelcoming environment for new patrons overall unfortunately. If you wanna do your own thing and ignore the host and hope he eventually gives you the time of day to order it was be rad, but for a genuine comfortable experience where you feel welcome unless you know the dude working there I wouldn’t bother… unless you’re a cute lady who wants to give him your...

As a long time patron of around 3 years on and off now I've spent thousands at this kava bar and will never go back after my most recent visit. My close friend got kicked out tonight by a manager(I've never seen him actually work there?) for having her Chihuahua with her due to it not being a service animal which would be fair enough if I didn't see a snake there frequently or a pitty come in to hang out just the night before she got kicked out for bringing her dog. I'm not sure why there was such favoritism but it was blatant and highly unprofessional.

That all being said the regular bartenders are wonderful and if you do happen to go anyways please remember to tip well. One of the bartenders recently told me this location is full of regulars stacking up $200 tabs nearly daily and tipping $3, between poor tippers and unprofessional management they're in need of...

Wasn't a good experience. I walk in there and get told to order a drink now I haven't even looked at the menu which frustrated my friends and I it so packed that you can't sit or stand anywhere not in the way so we stand about a foot from the door . As we are try to leave my friend goes to pay for a drink and all 3 bartender ignore him he ask politely 3 times to the closest bartender where she was legit standing there n doing nothing but looking at her phone. When he pay the one that finally notice him didn't even move the card read to an easier position for save enter of pin or as him to come to an area where payment would be easier .
