Morning Ale, American Lake Espresso — Restaurant in Lakewood

I love coming to this coffee shop! The owner / Barista is a master of his craft. His drinks are always perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. I usually get an iced white mocha or an iced caramel machiato with oatmilk. Today I tried the special which was a Valencia Mocha (of course I got it iced with oatmilk) and it was DELICIOUS!! Perfectly balanced flavors of Valencia orange, chocolate, and espresso! The owner is always friendly and chill which I also appreciate! I'm not always feeling super chatty before my coffee. They also have lots of food options. I haven't tried everything because of my dietary restrictions but there's breakfast sandwiches, burritos, sweets, etc. Definitely recommended this...

First time coming here. Was looking up the menu on the maps, but guess it was an old menu and not updated. So apparently, we were ordering things that they didn't have, as well as asking questions about certain drinks. The barista (he) seemed irritated about that and a bit non chalant, however in the end he seemed to have loosened up....prob glad we were leaving. 😆🤷‍♀️ Despite the experience... I usually try to keep my coffee orders simple, and this time was no different — I ordered a white chocolate Americano with cream and whip cream. Unfortunately, it completely missed the mark.
