Q) Did you attend the Grand Opening of this Starbucks location, Rodney? A) Yes, Rodney, I did! Frequenting the H Mart center often, I saw the new Starbucks being built at the former location of a multi-suite building. That building housed a Sanrio store, Piranha Sushi & a realty office many moons ago. Walking by the front door, I noticed a sign promoting free drinks for the Friends & Family event the next day, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity once spotted.
Q) Wasn't there a Starbucks just a block away on Pioneer? A) You're correct, Rodney. However that location was quite small and lacked a drive-thru. Starbucks was quite smart to nab this site when it became available, for the drive-thru is usually many cars deep whenever I pass by.
Q) Rodney, how is the service? A) The service is good. Because it was opening day, a few kinks needed to be worked out at the register, but otherwise everything went well. Someone even passed out samples of the various pastries to lucky customers present at the time.
Q) Anything else you'd like to add? A) The wifi here isn't as speedy as other Starbucks locations in the area. I've been here a few times after the Friends & Family event and drinks are made quickly & efficiently.
Q) Do you recommend this Starbucks, Rodney? A) For sure, Rodney. Being within walking distance to where I live, I know Frappuccino Happy Hour is only a few steps away at my beck and call. I don't regularly visit cafes, as I save a ton money brewing coffee at home, but it's nice to have a 'bucks nice & closeby whenever the urge for some pricey Java comes around.

Read moreAtmosphere here is pretty good - music is to loud. The service here is on and off, some of the employees are nice and some them give you nasty looks when you walk up to grab your drink.
I ordered a drink, the drink wasn't called out when it was made, I had to walk up to the counter to see if it was and search for it. When I was there an employee at the drive thru kept looking at me with glares and dirty looks, she ignored me even though she knew she could see me searching for my drink and kept giving me dirty looks. I ignored her, found my drink and noticed that my drink didn't have a sleeve on it for it was a hot tea, I asked one of the workers politely for a sleeve and she gave me the nastiest look as if I was inconveniencing her for a sleeve. I could tell in her mind she was thinking since the cup was double cupped I didn't need one, but the tea is still hot when I grip it and I saw other drinks with sleeves on it, so it was odd to me that a tea drink didn't have one in the first...
Read more1 star because I had to give something to review it and a 2nd star because there is the rare enthusiastic worker that is trying. For the most part though, the crew here is the worst I've seen at a Starbucks. The majority of time they are socializing with each other to no end, looking bothered that you asked for your order. Occasionally one will claim that they have orders ahead, but there will be only a few people there already having their order, 1 to 2 cars in the drive through, nothing in the mobile order area and they are standing around talking, that's not the appearance of busy.
When the 7 Teas finally opens down the street, I will no longer go here at all. I would have already eliminated going there, but my 4 y.o. twins love going places and the heat has made the park something I don't like them in for more than an hour. So one store opening from no longer visiting the seemingly non-stop social hour that this...
