Came with a friend on Tuesday at 6:30pm. Had reservations so was seated right away. We opted to seat outside since the weather was so nice. Their patio tables and chairs are very comfortable.

For drinks my friend got the smoky old fashioned and I got the perfect pear. Both drinks were fantastic, refreshing, and boozy. For apps we wanted to share the tuna tartare. The place wasn't super busy for a Tuesday but it did take 20mins for us to get our app. The tuna was mixed in with chopped tomatoes. I noticed there was a lot more tomatoes than there were tuna which was disheartening especially considering the price. The chips on the side were crispy and seasoned well.

For our second drinks I said "I'll have the same as what my friend had" but I guess our server misheard me and ended up giving me the same pear drink. I kept it because the drink is good anyway but would have been nice to switch it up.

For entrées I got the 8oz filet mignon and swapped the pea pureé with the mashed potatoe side. The mashed potatoes were silky and delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed the red wine reduction on top. The salad was fresh and light although it could be mixed better. All the dressing was the bottom along with the onions.

For dessert I got the 3 scoops of chocolate ice cream and it was delicious.

In the end I find there's a credit card fee. I find this a bit disappointing especially for how high the prices are. If I decide to come back I guess I'll carry some cash...

Our Easter dining experience at Taverna 54 was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the entire staff. The ambiance was inviting, with charming decor that included captivating photos of Italy, and we can't wait to return in the warmer months to enjoy the patio.

Now, let's talk about the food and drinks. Every dish that graced our table was a masterpiece. Some of the standout items for us were the perfectly cooked salmon and the delectable French toast. Both were bursting with flavor and left us craving for more. As for the drinks, the caviar martini was an absolute showstopper at our table, but it was Robert's cucumber cocktail that stole the show for me (though the Espresso martini comes close). It was a refreshing and delightful concoction, perfect for welcoming the spring season.

Speaking of Robert, our server, he added a layer of enjoyment to our experience. His expertise in pairing cocktails with our meals was impressive, and his recommendations were spot on. His vibrant personality and insightful conversation made our dining experience even more memorable.

Overall, Taverna 54 provided us with an exceptional dining experience. The combination of incredible food, delightful drinks, and exceptional service has left a lasting impression on our family. We're already eagerly planning our next visit, and it's only been two days since we dined there. Cheers to Taverna 54 for an unforgettable Easter...

Our recent gathering at T 54 Authentic Italian Cuisine in Lambertville for a double birthday celebration left us pleasantly surprised. Our group of four was treated to an evening of delightful food and memorable service, thanks to Ashley, our attentive waitress, and the gracious maître d’, Mario. Of course, the chef played a crucial role too, crafting some impressive dishes.

While three of us opted for pasta, I decided to go for the salmon. The decision paid off; the salmon dish was a testament to the chef’s skill, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavors.

But what truly elevated our experience was Ashley’s warm and knowledgeable service. Her recommendations were spot-on, reflecting her deep understanding of the menu. It felt like dining with a friend who genuinely cared about making our evening special.

The restaurant itself had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, setting the stage for a relaxed and enjoyable celebration. The entire staff, from Mario to Ashley and the chef, made us feel right at home.

In summary, T 54 Authentic Italian Cuisine delivered a memorable dining experience that blended delicious food with the personal touch of Ashley’s service and the warm hospitality of Mario. If you appreciate great food and genuine service, this is a spot worth trying. We left with contented hearts and cherished memories of our double birthday...

Taverna 54 has a lot going for it in terms of atmosphere and service—the ambiance is warm and stylish, and the staff is friendly and attentive throughout the meal. It’s a place that feels special and welcoming, great for a night out with friends or a date. We started strong with the appetizers—the meatballs and burrata were excellent. Flavorful, well-prepared, and a great way to kick off the meal. Unfortunately, things took a nosedive when we got to the main course. My friend ordered the lasagna, and his verdict was harsh but honest: it reminded him of high school cafeteria food. I ordered the New York strip steak, and I can only describe it as awful—tough, flavorless, and poorly presented (photo attached if you’re reading this somewhere that allows images). Thankfully, dessert helped redeem the experience. Everything we tried was delicious, beautifully done, and left a great final impression. Bottom line: Taverna 54 is worth visiting for its appetizers, drinks, and desserts. Skip the mains. With such a beautiful setting and solid service, it’s a shame the entrees don’t live up to the rest of the experience.
