Did you know that our hotel is one of the few in the area that is dog friendly??🐾 That’s right: you don’t have to leave your fur-baby at home to explore the historic New Hope. Take them with you, and enjoy a complimentary dog bed, treats, potty bags and food bowls! We can’t wait to meet you! Call our front desk at 267-740-7131 to book with us! We recently stayed overnight for my wife’s birthday. We have stayed in New Hope and Lambertville many times, but in season the Ghost Light Inn is usually booked. Overall it’s a very nice hotel, in a nice location. If my review sounds less than excited it’s because when I pay that much for a room, my expectations are very high. When checking in I inquired about the hours for the complimentary breakfast. I was told that’s only Monday through Friday which was not clear on the website. Considering they don’t even serve breakfast in their restaurant, and don’t offer room service at all, this was a major negative. They must get a lot of complaints about this because there was a sign in the room indicating no continental breakfast on weekends. They should have posted that exact sign on their website! The room itself was nice, but small. On the plus side, The bed and linens were very comfortable. The Juliet balcony is actually a nice full length glass door that opens all the way, and the views are nice, but it’s not a true Juliet balcony. The bathroom was small, but also very nice. I called the front desk to inquire about the complimentary gourmet coffee that they advertised only to be told that they no longer offered it and their website and literature in the room, were not up to date. We did use their coffee maker only to find out at checkout that the bottled Nestles water was actually the “smart water” on the minibar menu at $6 per bottle! If this had been clear I would have still consumed them, but trying to pass a minor brand as “smart water” is unacceptable. I acknowledge that some of my comments could be interpreted as I was looking for freebies, but that’s not the case. I just expect properties to perform to the level they advertise. I also don’t appreciate being nickeled and dimed at luxury room rates. Instead of impressing me by going above and beyond, overall they performed below expectation. With so many wonderful options in the area, we won’t be returning. I hope that this review alerts others, who like me have high expectations, to stay elsewhere.

Let me tell you a story about this amazing place called the Ghost Light Inn!!!!!|We stayed from Thursday, 06/19/2025 to Sunday, 06/2/22/2025. My son got married here. I start by saying that there was no power on Thursday, 06/19/2025. The service was amazing. They helped us bring our luggage upstairs to the 3rd floor with the upmost respect and care. Credit was immediately given for the night, no questions asked. From the parking staff, the staff at the welcome desk, the house keeping staff, the event staff, the food, the service, this whole team is amazing, amazing. I asked the management how did they do it? How were they able to finds the same type of people, giving the same type of Service and Care and professionalism at the same time. We felt as if they were taking care of their own family. This experience made the wedding the most perfect event I have ever attended. For those 3 days, it felt as we were at a palace in other part of the world. omg, The food was family style, prime A1A steak, baked chicken, potatoes, asparagus and an array of other food items that were perfectly cooked from a 100-million-star restaurant rating if such a number exists. let's not forget the cocktail hour, please, amazing. I can write a book if I could because this place is amazing. The care they had for us wow, 100 million % if such a number exists. There is truly nothing negative to say because if when we arrived there was no power and they took care of us from the start..... this people are awesome!!! Ghost Light Inn!!!!! -- THE MOST BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! -- CONGRATULATIONS!!! ONLY STAY HERE IF YOU WANT HIGH PRICES AND POOR SERVICE. I thought this was the best place to put my closest family members for my wedding. Especially that I have a handicap Aunt that needed an ADA room, however We are talking 5 family names on a list I booked at this hotel. I communicated over and over that my Aunt was handicap and needed to be in the ADA room. I even went there in person the day before to ensure it would go seamlessly, and then I provided all of my 5 family rooms which room numbers they would be in. However upon arrival my young cousins with 2 small children arrive and the GM Jim tells them a different room number. They told him that was not the room they were supposed to have, however he insisted they go to that room (which was the ADA room for my Aunt). So when my Aunt arrives in her wheelchair she gets put into a regular room.. How you can not see the women in the Wheelchair needs the ADA room is beyond me? They did not try to fix the mistake then, or maybe didn't care. Then I find out on my wedding weekend that my Aunt is not in the ADA room, and since the regular toilets are so low she got stuck on it, which is a massive problem. Not until my cousins and my Aunt had to complain to them did they then tell them to swap rooms.. lets be real.. you now have my cousins with 2 small kids (2 & 4 yrs old) and my handicap Aunt now switching rooms. This is ridiculous. Bottom line is the hotel's excuse was "we were confused because they had the same last name" ... You are a hotel, you handle weddings all the time, weddings have people with the same last names, there was a list of 5 names, and my guests told them that the room was wrong since they knew their room number.. however he didn't listen .. clearly Jim didn't care to make the effort to look over the list, which would have quickly solved this, or to listen to them when they said it wasn't right.. or to open his eyes and see that when my handicap Aunt arrived in a wheelchair maybe say.. oh wait I put the wrong people in the ADA room lets fix this now. Nope, put her in the wrong room, waited for all the problems to unfold and just was filled with excuses when this all bubbled up. I would NEVER work with this place again. and if you want organization, and things to be handled with proper care for the Price .. this is not the place. We did receive exceptional service across the street at the Logan Inn for other family members, that is a better bet if you want your experience to be smooth and...
