With a 4.7 star review we figured that this would be a good place for some Mexican food. Not so! Though we were seated quickly, it took at least 10 minutes to get our order taken. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. We watched 3 other tables that arrived later than us get their food orders taken after ours but got their food (appetizers AND entrees) before we did. It took asking our waiter twice and over 30 minutes for our food to come out, both appetizers and entrees at the same time!!! Not acceptable. The appetizer was cold (not supposed to be cold). Just a can (presumably) of black beans spread on a stale tortilla shell with shredded chicken and some cheese. And the chicken was dry. Not edible even with extra sauce on top. The entrees were served warm (barely). Though they tasted very good, they also tasted just barely warm. Again, not acceptable. The only excuse from our (admittedly nice) waiter, was that they were "very busy" (there were two large empty tables directly beside us). After talking to the manager about the service and food, he comped our cold, inedible appetizer. We still came out with a bill over $60 (over $80 after tip) for 2 barely warm, though tasty, entrees and an appetizer. Definitely not worth the time and aggravation. Taco Bell may have been a far...

I’m so happy this place survived Covid! It’s been a few years since I’ve been there. But today, I was able to stop in after my bike ride for lunch. I had the tacos Al pastor…pork with sweet pineapple..yum. The tacos here are the best tacos I’ve ever had. I like the green and red sauce it comes with (the red edging out a small lead). They both have a small kick, just enough to enhance the flavors but not overpower with heat. You need to eat it right away when it is warm to experience gastric bliss. Each taco is balanced, fresh and loaded with flavor. (note, It doesn’t disintegrate even after a 30 minute ride home but make sure to microwave it to get it warm again). Squirt a little lime on it and take a bite. It’s taste bud sensory overload for me. The small grilled baby onion is a nice touch. They are very sweet and tender. Then there is the 1/2 roasted green pepper ( jalapeños perhaps?). I’m not big into spicy food but I wanted to try it so I scraped out the seeds and took a bite. Man, It’s hot!

I plan on having lunch there every time after my ride. I want to try everything on the menu especially the enchiladas.

The people that run the place are happy and beautiful. I wish they had a store near me. They would put all the “Mexican” restaurants to shame. This place is an easy 5...

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Paid $18 for a small order of 3 tiny veggie enchiladas (same price as a premium order of chicken, steak or shrimp). I'll gladly pay $18 for good enchiladas but they simply substituted the premium meat for carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. The majority of good Mexican restaurants know veggies are cheap and reflect that in their pricing. Steamed and water logged veggies don't cut it unfortunately. A proper place would use mushrooms, onions, refried beans, potatoes, extra cheese, bell peppers, olives, picked veggies and nopales (cactus). Their food is well prepared and they have a great selection of Jaritos Mexican sodas which is a plus. Vegetarians will be...

I moved to PA from San Diego, CA a couple of years ago. We have some awesome Mexican food in San Diego as you may have guessed. This place puts everything I've tried in SD to shame! By far, the BEST carnitas burrito I have ever had - and I've had plenty! My dining partner had the mahi-mahi tacos and swooned over those, especially with the mango salsa! The quality of the food went beyond restaurant standards - I felt like I was in a 75-year-old grandma's kitchen who placed in front of me a recipe that had been in the family for generations, it was THAT good. If you haven't discovered this place yet, get down there (just not on a day I'm going, I don't want to get shut out)!!!

Always a great experience here! The service is friendly, and there’s no shortage of delicious vegetarian options—though I usually go for the camarones rancheros, which never disappoints. The enclosed back patio offers comfortable seating with Dia de Los Muertos decor. This spot is BYOB, with a liquor store conveniently located just around the corner. This time, I switched it up and tried the burrito bowl—it was absolutely massive and super satisfying. Would have had lunch for the next day, but I left it in the car. 🥴 We’ll be back!
