Subway — Restaurant in Lancaster

Had a disappointing experience recently. Ordered online, and when it was time to pick up the order, they weren't aware of it. The employees couldn't find any record of the order. They got on the phone and made a call to somebody with more access to the system. They eventually found the order in their system and made the sandwich.

The sandwich that they made.... aren't they referred to as sandwich artists? I got a loaf of bread with a few things smeared in there and a pinch of meat. Then it appeared to be squeezed shut, twisted a bit, an attempt was made to cut it in half by a 1 inch cut on the bread. Then, it was wrapped and sent on its way. I guess I enjoyed my extra mayo sandwich with a couple of bites of steak. That's literally what it was, all mayo and barely any meat.

I'm not sure there is much pride in whomever made the sub and their job. I'm not one to complain. In fact, I am editing a previous review from several years ago that was all 5 stars. This sub was so miserably made, and with the order malfunction, I had...

We placed an order for pickup over the app. When we arrived there were three employees working and only one other customer in the store. We overheard the employees discussing they were making the sandwich orders in the wrong order (making the newest orders before the older ones) and ours were not ready yet. The app advertised it was free chip Friday and this one was listed as a participating location. When mentioned to the employee she had no idea what we were talking about. She asked one of her coworkers and they weren’t familiar with it either. They said “well it was last Friday…but we don’t know anything about it.” We didn’t argue any more even though it’s an advertised thing. When we got home our sandwiches were a sloppy mess. Ordered my sub and didn’t get what I wanted… asked for less sriracha and got almost more than I have with a regular amount. I have stomach problems and try to moderate things like this so it wasn’t made to order. Also ordered EXTRA onions and got ZERO onions. No extra lettuce or extra black olives either just the normal amount. When I tried calling the store so we could figure something out they wanted me to bring the sandwich back to scoop the veggies out and remake it as is. When in the hell has that been a thing at any place. I will not be going back to this place and would rather go next town over to get it made the right way.
