Tortilla Grill — Restaurant in Lancaster

Hello my name is Mike I do security and This place is awesome. The meat is perfectly seasoned the customer service is perfect for Afro Mexican such as my self. I went to certain Mexican restaurant in Lancaster and I get a look as if I shouldn't be around. But the tortilla grill treats me like family. This place treats colored people equally. I can't say that for the other Mexican restaurant in town. You get your moneys worth at the tortilla grill and you can smell the food when you walk in. Not like other Mexican restaurants in Lancaster CA. If you want good tasting food with a positive energy flowing threw your food go to the tortilla grill now. The asada reminds me of the south central taco trucks. Very tasty. Thanks to the whole staff for treating me equally. If you don't smell the food and the energy is bad in these Mexican restaurants located in Lancaster CA and you of color I advise you to leave and head to the tortilla grill now!!!!. Racist workers won't greet you our smile and the food will make you sick, but not at the tortilla grill......

Holy cow this place is awesome! We ordered over the phone, which was pleasant and easy. When I arrived to pick up the food, everything was ready to go, and every employee was wearing a mask. They had sanitizer on the counter. Now on to the most important part: my wife ordered the pozole verde, and it was excellent. Perfect for a cold winter night. I ordered the Cali fries, and they were great. Many layers and toppings, but not running with sauces so the fries didn't get soggy on the drive home. Their street tacos were super good, especially the al pastor! The red and green salsa were both tasty! In fact, the only real negative I can think of is that they are a bit far away from us, but that isn't their fault of course. We can't wait to explore more of their menu, and they just might end up as our go-to place for...

Rude, impotent front of house staff that clearly did not want to be working. Hearing the kitchen staff talk about taking shortcuts on the recipes. Which brings me to the disappointing part. The green pozole used to be really good, but this time, it was way over salted that it literally made my wife and I sick. I had a carne asada torta, and the beans and meat tasted like Kraft parmesan cheese. We also have a chicken gordita that we're honestly afraid to try. So I don't know what happened to this place.
