Andy's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Land O' Lakes

Went there tonight (was so excited they are finally open) and found several BIG roaches crawling all over the place by the door and benches along the wall (a dead one was literally right outside the front door by the order windows). I should have taken a photo as proof. When I mentioned it to a worker she said “did you see them inside or outside?” which tells me they are aware of the problem. Either way, my appetite was gone and I left without ordering anything. Have never seen anything like this at the other location down the road. I won’t be back to try the new location until the bug issue is resolved.

EDIT: The fact that Andy’s is only responding to the positive reviews is honestly quite shocking. I won’t be giving them another chance. I’m very local, my review was not fake, they actually have a pest issue at this location. They could offer an email or phone to discuss further but are choosing to ignore any of the reviews about...

Disappointed after a long wait… I was really looking forward to this location finally opening, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. We stood in the sun with no shade, squinting up at the menu — not the most welcoming setup. (Please consider adding some kind of outdoor shade, especially in this Florida heat! And it’s not even summer yet.)

The employee who took our order seemed like they were done for the day — not rude, but definitely not friendly either. We ordered four different items, hoping to get a taste of the variety, but each one was just… meh. Nothing stood out.

I really wanted to love this place, but overall, it felt like more effort than it was worth. Hoping things improve with time — We will probably not...

This is tricky because the concretes are yummy. But, the flying crawling buzzing huge roach like creatures are DISGUSTING AND EVERYWHERE! They need less white lighting, and use yellow light bulbs. They need to power wash every day all the icecream and candies spilled all over the cement attracting all the bugs known to man kind. And lastly, they need to majorly exterminate the place inside and out. I feel really bad about giving such low stars....but it really is a problem and kids and families were screaming! It was traumatizing for us all. The bugs are too big and numerous to even step on!...
