Waitress was weird. Older, very tan, overly made up woman-kept leaning way onto our table while talking. Was more concerned with telling us about the prime rib and smoked turkey in which she over indulged during Christmas dinner. We ordered the one appetizer and two entrees for $20: Texas cheese fries, half rack of ribs with fries and the mango chili chicken with broccoli. Waitress suggests a different side with the ribs since I'm getting fries as a appetizer. Lists the available sides and jalapeño macaroni and cheese is chosen. Comes back a few minutes later to inform us they're out of broccoli and lists other vegetables available. We chose asparagus. Takes a while for the app to come out, while she's chatting the customers in the booth behind us about her outstanding Christmas dinner. App finally comes out. Not terrible. Entrees come out about 5 minutes after completion of app. Ribs were ok, macaroni was runny. Mango chili chicken had a BROWN lump of avocado for a garnish and the asparagus was so old it appeared woody and the frond end were frayed. I blame the kitchen for serving something so abhorrent but also the waitress for not looking at the food being served. We pay full price for the meal at the ziosk and leave a 20% tip. Not looking for a free meal. Then the ziosk won't print a receipt so we ask the waitress for one. My fault I didn't look at the breakdown of the tab while paying. We were up charged for the asparagus and the Mac and cheese. That's the straw that broke the camel's back. Spoke with and showed the manager the food that was being served. To her credit she apologized and stated supply problems. She insisted on crediting half our bill back to us. Our bill we paid was $35, credited us $9.50, $2 of that was the ridiculous up charge, so in essence, $7.50. Try independent restaurants and not chains. We got lazy and look...
Read moreShort staff whicth i understand all day i am the general manager of a restaurant so i understand, started out ok just took a while for us to be greated and served, we ordered chips and queso, we recived our queso first and took about 5 minutes for us to then get drinks and the chips to go along with our now cold queso, we waited for our food took a little long but again i get it short staff, now heres the problem i have wife and kids food came out great... but mine however did not, sorry i have a medical condition and connot eat red meat unless its cooked all the way, they bring it out first time its med rare, second time still red after 3rd time of sending it back they bring me the same steak that i had cut to check its doneness witch is fine but its now hard as a rock where you can clearly tell they just threw a grill press on and let it go way to long. Manager comes to table And you can tell hes had a long day, and says i understand that you had a problem with the steak, i replyed yes and i just want it off my bill, which he replys that it would be, and just walks away, then wants to come back 10 minutes later after my familys almost done eating there food and then asks if theres any thing they can get for me..... of corse not... then you finally get the bill and did not even take the dam steak off my bill was giving not even a 20% discount, i really happy my kids food was good but very disappointed i did not get to enjoy the experience with them, cannot say that i will be back...
Read moreI had dinner with my boyfriend here tonight, server was Danni on the bar side. Took a while to greet us, so we had drink and food orders ready. She got our drink order, but didn't ask if we were ready to order food. She brought back his coke, but my Vodkarita took a while... Which the bartender brought to me. 10 minutes went by before she came to take our food order. When my boyfriend ordered a burger, she didn't ask how he wanted it or what he wanted on it... Our appetizer (Texas cheese fries) came out hard and burnt. (But of course she didn't bother to ask) Another employee brought our food out. His burger was almost bloody, and my "Cajun" chicken pasta was pretty bland. We didn't see our server (Danni) again until we were ready to leave. She didn't check on us after the food came out, we didn't have any napkins, the salt at our table was clogged and nasty, and we would have liked a side of mayo if she had returned to the table to check on us. I boxed up my pasta, I'll put salt on it when I get home. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location. I get better customer service at...
