Mikho's Mediterranean Cuisine — Restaurant in Lansing

After deciding we had a shared late-night craving for something heartier than the chips in our pantry, we hemmed and hawed over what we thought was our only delivery option, pizza. When we discovered Mikho's would still deliver at 11 pm on a Sunday, we were excited for something non-pizza, though weary of this place we'd never tried before. "It's also a hookah lounge? Really? We're gonna do this? Ok, I guess.", was literally my husband's response. So, we ordered the dinner for 2 with some tabooli and kept our expectations low, especially for such a late-night request. The delivery was prompt and easy. Again, not expecting much, we took our first bites. The flavor! Such amazing, authentic flavor! We were beyond blown away with how excellent this food is! The meat was juicy and savory. The pickles, the tabooli, the rice, the salad, the yogurt sauce, the hummus all coordinate in such a delicious, flavor-filled orchestra of perfect pairings. We are big fans of Woody's and normally get it at least twice a month or so, but we are totally switching to Mikho's from now on! Thanks for such a fabulous,...

We were super happy with this place.

First off, I never write reviews, but we wanted to add our account of the night.

We enjoyed two different flavors of hookah, but our favorite by far was the double apple in an orange bowl. We are not strangers to water pipes having smoked all over the world, and this was one of the most enjoyable experiences we have ever had. I don't know what they did, but both hookahs were never harsh and were consistently perfect.

Also, we enjoyed some tasty appetizers. We ordered the large plate of hummus and a plate of falafel. We were all extremely happy with the taste and texture of everything.

Then there was the service. We could not have been more happy. The staff was super friendly constantly checking on us and our hookahs. We could really see that every one at Mikho's took great pride in their work.

Our only criticism was they don't serve alcohol. We think it's because they serve a younger crowd, but this was not a problem. And the double apple is always enough to get you to a happy...

⚠️⚠️ DON'T EVEN BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME!!!⚠️⚠️

I placed an order for two lamb dinners, that I asked to be cooked medium. Wen the food arrived the lamb was overcooked to the point that it was like the rubber balls you get out of the toy machines as a child. Meaning it was tough, rubbery & and all out horrendous!!! The rice was overcooked and dried out, the salad had at least 3+ tablespoons of water that it was sitting in and it wasn't dressed with anything nor did we receive any dressing for the salad. I wanted to try a different middle eastern restaurant to see how it was, but I think I'll stick to Zaytoon from now on because this restaurant gets a NEGATIVE 100, as far as a rating! Don't even bother wasting your time at this...
