I decided to try Ming Dynasty after reading many positive reviews both on Google and other websites. The lady taking orders was friendly and spoke good English. There was a lunch special that included a plate with rice and either 1,2, or 3 items. I decided to get double General Tso Chicken and beef and vegetable with fried rice and an egg roll. I also ordered a separate appetizer of crab rangoons. My order was fulfilled very quickly and at a fair price. They do have some tables there, but seating is limited.

When I got to eating my food, I thought it was a mixed bag. The General Tso chicken had good flavor but the coating was bad; it was like eating a weird emulsion. The beef and vegetable was mediocre and lacked good flavor. I did enjoy the fried rice but the egg roll tasted like it was frozen and microwaved. The crab rangoons were my favorite part of my order. They had a good texture and a nice cream cheese and crab filling.

Overall, I felt as though you got a good value with the amount of food for the money, but the quality was hit or miss. I think that there are definitely better Chinese restaurants in the area. However, I have also had much worse. It may be worth a try if you are picky with what you order, but I will likely choose...

Terrible experience, terrible service. They left out a part of my order and refused to give me any kind of credit for it. They said I could come back which I declined because I live almost 20 minutes away and my food would be cold, not to mention if I could even make it back on time before closing. They said I could come  another day to get just rice which I refused. Why would I come back on another occasion for just rice? I asked if they could just credit back some of the order like my soup or egg roll for the mistake and inconvenience and they refused. I then stated that if I came back, could they at least remake the chicken so it wouldn't be cold, and they refused that too! I then drove all the way down there and returned to the food to get a full refund. When I got there, the lady who made my food was shaking her arms at me, giving me dirty looks and telling me to go away. I mention to the guy up front I'm here for a refund. While he's doing this, the lady is shouting "remember her, remember her face!" Rude and disrespectful much? What a waste of time! Not to mention I tipped as well. Don't go...

I had the pleasure of dining at "Ming Dynasty" on Jolly Rd. in Lansing, Michigan, on two consecutive days, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. If you're a fan of bold, spicy flavors, this is definitely your go-to spot.

On the first day, I ordered the "Szechuan Chicken," and let me tell you, my taste buds were on a fiery flavor journey. The spiciness of the dish was on point, delivering a mouthful of intense and wonderful flavors. It's a must-try for anyone who craves a spicy kick in their Chinese cuisine.

Returning for a second day, I opted for the "Kung Pao Chicken," and it was hands down the best I've had in a while. The perfect blend of sweet and spicy, with tender chicken and crunchy peanuts, made this dish a delightful culinary experience.

"Ming Dynasty" on Jolly Rd. undoubtedly excels in delivering spicy and flavorful Chinese cuisine that's a treat for the taste buds. Whether you're a spice enthusiast or simply looking for some excellent Chinese dishes, this restaurant is a gem in Lansing, Michigan, and I highly recommend it for a delicious...

At the end of a long week of work, classes and what ever else you have going on, it is good to know that very good, freshly prepared fried rice is right around the corner on the south side of Lansing. I have never had fried rice from this restaurant that was not made to order. I enjoy extra spicy and then I add Chilli oil on top of that and they never fail to impress. Lots of chicken pieces, that are moist and full of flavor. The restaurant is family owned and that clearly shows. While I have gone on and on about fried rice, their other dishes are well made and I would recommend this restaurant to be one of the best if not the best Chinese food places in Capital City...and the long lines for take out depending right before dinner time clearly proves it.

It used to be awesome and now you barely get anything. Don't order the 4 meat fried rice. You get literally, I counted them 6 TINY shrimp, the crab ragoon is just cream cheese, anything that has a meat other than SS chicken you will be disappointed in. It's a shame but it is what it is. Sad . We are white and my mom makes better lumpia than they do "crab" ragoon. It went under when the younger people took over. I'll be looking for a new place and my mom and friends will follow. I'd rather go to Asia Finest. You pay for cream cheese not crab. The East Coast has better Asian food. They make you pay the money but don't deliver.
