Danny's — Restaurant in Laredo

I went to Danny's for breakfast and I ordered a Machacado. They brought me a guisado with potatos, something like Papas a la mexicana. I told the waiter that the plate was not mine because I wanted machacado. So they took my plate and came back in not more than 2 minutes, with the same food but this time they added a little bit of Barbacoa. I told them that is not machacado. So I think the manager came to my table to tell me that the plate that I was receiving was Machacado with sauce. This was the most stupid and absurd situation. The manager trying to convince me of something that don't exist. So if you go to Danny's and order Menudo and bring you caldo de res that is your menudo. I will never go again to Danny's because is not the first time they try to sell you their mistakes or they ignorance telling you that your plate is the way is...

I called on January 3 between the hours of 12pm and 12:15 PM, and the female that was answering the phone was very rude. I asked to speak to the manager several times, and she refused to pass him the phone. On top of being rude, she hung up on me. Then I called five times before she picked up the phone, and I could hear her charge customers. I asked for her name, and she said “pa que quieres saber?”

What kind of customer service is this? Who does she think she is treating customers this way? She should be fired!

I have been a loyal Danny’s restaurant customer for over 30 years, (Saunders location) and this is the first time that I get this kind of treatment.

Very nice greeters. This location was sanitizing tables, wearing face mask and even gloves. The big bummer here was the food. I ask for rib eye very well cooked and received one under cooked. Even the greasy part of the meat was not fully cooked. The meat was seasoned poorly. Meat could at least have salt and that alone would have made it taste good. The three fried shrimp were probably fried in old oil. They had a weird taste and were very dark. I'm more than sure that very old burnt oil was used. The greeting part and waitress service excellent but the food was not good. One last thing. Only two dessert options were available. All I wanted was a slice of carrot cake or buñuelo with...
