My husband and I stopped by to eat along with my grandparents. The first sign when you walk inside the restaurant says "Please see hostess to be seated", yet we had to seat ourselves. We ordered our drinks and when the waitress came to serve them, she only had two of the drinks. She didn't bring the other two until just minutes before our food came out (and after we had to remind her that we still hadn't been served the missing drinks). When the food came out, my grandmothers plate was wrong. While eating our meal, our drinks were never refilled. We had to ask another waitress for refills. After our meal we waited over 30 minutes until I had to get up and walk to the manager to ask why we hadn't received our bill yet. His excuse was that they were in the middle of changing shifts. I wonder what his excuse would have been for having horrible customer service? The point of being a manager in charge is to ensure that your waiters and waitresses are providing great customer service. We even witnessed other customers leaving before ordering because they had not been tended to. The manager, Salvador, did not even seem to care that his customers were not being satisfied. Read moreMe and a friend arrive close to shift change. (I know people want to leave on time) The waiter that was on duty still was busy stocking up items on the table. As we sat about 15 mins before I asked for help and have drinks served to us, we weren't even (noticed) although he walk passed us like 3 times.. The gentleman ended up getting our drink order. I waited patiently as they switched shifts, waited another 30 mins.. Then finally what seemed to be the night manager walked by my table I asked him if we could order, the "manager" just turned around. WALK AWAY and said, " EL MESERO DE ESA MESA'. He seemed to ne super unhappy with his job. Finally our oder was taken, as we finished up. We asked for a to-go plate for my friend. The girl that was suppose to be oir waiter never showed up. Not to mention me and my friends sat in front of the door that goes in and out of the kitchen and when it swung open a foul smell like sewage came from the kitchen. Very unpleasant.. They need a new night manager. And totally need to scrub the floors and walls.. To get the rotten...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to share a prime rib salad. The waitress was prompt and took our order in adequate time. We waited over a half an hour for the salad. When we received it, I noted that the amount of prime rib was definitely less than that shown in the advertisement in the menu. My wife, of course being more observant than me, said, "where is the avocado, where is the boiled egg?" There was very little prime rib, no avocado, and no boiled egg. We talked to the manager. The manager stated that they did not have the time to go out and purchase avocado. What about the boiled egg? I guess they did not have time to boil water? Or maybe they didn't have eggs and hadn't had the time to buy them. How can they send a meal to the table that is not complete? Trying to steal our money by selling us an inferior product? Where was the waitress in all of this? Didn't she see that the salad was incomplete? Where was the cook that prepared this salad? How could the cook send out a salad that was grossly inadequate? Is this how Denny's in Laredo treats...
