Mula's was an absolutely fantastic experience!

From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed and invited to sit wherever I pleased. I really appreciated the simplicity of the menu—it was straightforward. From what i recall, the menu is in Spanish but considering that Laredo is a border town its only appropriate. The restaurant itself has a casual and inviting atmosphere, with a wonderful owner and friendly staff who made the experience even better. The food was incredible! The salsas had the perfect level of spice, the meat was juicy, and the portions were HUGE. The prices were very fair for the quality, making it an affordable yet satisfying dining option. My party of two ordered tacos, and not only did they taste amazing, but the presentation was also visually appealing.

Its a wonderful casual sit down restaurant if you're looking for authentic Mexican food with...

We had no idea what to expect as it was our first visit and from the Midwest. The building is new for sure and the restaurant is very clean. It feels a bit sterile because there's no menu, no checkout counter, etc but the way it's decorated, it felt very welcoming too.

Our server was fantastic! We had to translate the menu to English but we were able to order without issues. He had a great sense of humor even thru the language barrier. ❤️

We ordered the street tacos - so good! Guacamole which was basically. And queso fundido is my translation.....melty cheese with chorizo.

Our drinks were refilled, food came out quickly, chips were crispy, salsa was fresh. I'd definitely return...

Hands down, the best Mexican food I’ve had in Laredo. MULAs is a game-changer. From the moment you walk in, the friendly vibes and modern decor scream Mexican cuisine but with a fresh twist. I started with their Ribeye al piquín. I have never tasted anything like it. I then ordered tacos de pollo gratinados and tacos Matamoros, the tacos had the most amazing taste and were well served. The secret star of mulas are the unique Mexican salsa’s which are served with perfectly cooked tostaditas best you’ll ever have, trust me on this one. Service was fast and friendly and the owner was always on top of things. I can’t wait to go back and taste the rest of the menu. Highly...

The food was okay. Nothing special. The price was reasonable. The atmosphere was boring, hope they add more design or details to entice customers. Looked very plain. The staff though was nice and attentive and quick service btw. For our food we spent $39. The pastor tacos didn’t taste like pastor.

The place is clean, good atmosphere, and the service was friendly. I ordered the charro beans and they were excellent — probably the best thing on the menu. But I also ordered the “mulas” (crispy tortillas with carne asada), and I was disappointed. The meat wasn’t grilled, it was boiled or stewed, and the dish was a bit too salty. I’d definitely come back for the beans, but not for the mulas. Overall, it’s a nice spot, but there’s room to improve.
