The WORST customer service I have ever experienced! Do not come here if you can help it! My coworkers and I placed our orders for lunch and one of them picked the order up. I opened my box and saw that I was given a different meal than I ordered. No big deal, mistakes happen! I called the restaurant to explain this and to ask for my meal to be re-made so I could pick it up during my lunch break. The woman on the phone was incredibly rude and forceful in insisting that I had ordered the wrong thing and that it was not the restaurant’s fault. I ordered the spicy basil noodles and received pad thai…this was clearly a mistake on their end lol. The woman on the phone then told me if I wanted to pick up a replacement meal that she would charge me for it. I told her I felt this was unacceptable and that I just wanted to get the meal I ordered. She then went on a two minute rant about how I was taking money out of her paycheck for “my” mistake and how this is unfair to her. She wrapped this up by gruffly telling me they would replace my meal this one time. After hanging up she quickly called me back saying I needed to give back the meal I originally received. No problem, but again, she was very rude about it. I was pretty nervous to walk in and pick up my corrected order and hoped they would be kinder in person. This was not the case. She proceeded to repeatedly berate me for “my” mistake again and said they would not replace my meal for free in the future. I stood there for a full minute of the lecture from her and her coworker before thanking her, picking up my meal and leaving. I am honestly still shocked and upset by this whole interaction. I always strive to be kind and patient, especially with those who work hard in the service industry. I was patient throughout this entire process and was treated rudely and unfairly. We ordered dinner with half the dishes spicy and half mild from the location on Westbay. We realized all the dishes were mild after we picked it up. Not a big deal, everyone makes mistakes. It is the actions you take after you make a mistake that defines your character. Unfortunately the lady at the register and the chef decided to be extremely rude and racist after we asked to have the error corrected. All I wanted was to have half the dishes made spicy. Which shouldn't be hard since they were mild and you can add spices to them. It wasn't the other way around where I was asking them to un-spice my dishes. I asked the lady to review and repeat my order and she read the order correctly with half the dishes mild and others spicy. So I asked how do we correct this issue and she told me I would have to pay for new order for them to add the spices. I didn't understand why I would have to pay again for half my order if I wanted my order corrected. Especially since she was asking me to give back the incorrect spiced dishes for which she was not going to refund me. I emphasized that I understand that mistakes can be made but I just wanted spices added. It is then that the chef came out of the back area very belligerent, repeating 'No mistake, I forgot to add spices". I explained that forgetting to make my dish spicy is a mistake but he got very angry and repeated 'No mistake, I forgot'. He then continued on to say that it is only people of my ethnicity that ever have a problem with their food. They demanded I leave and never come back. Even took my phone number so they can ban me. It went from 0 to 60 for them in less than 2 minutes. I stood in the parking lot dumbfounded. All I asked was to have them correct my order without paying for it again. I am never going back to them. Server was friendly, helpful & knowledgeable about food being offered.

Husband's appetizer was the Chicken & Rice Soup and I ordered the Tom Yum Soup. It was outstanding. Exactly what I expect in Chicken Tom Yum soup, hot & sour. Chicken based broth, a little spicy but not too much, nice amount of chicken pieces with bits of mushrooms and scallions round out this amazing soup. I'd get this every time. Husbands Chicken & Rice soup is exactly that. A comforting and delicious bowl of yummy soup.

Husband ordered the Chicken Ramen Noodle bowl. He's never had a Ramen Bowl and he was glad he tried it. It's a chicken based broth, with tender bits of chicken, bamboo shoots & boiled egg. He chose to forgo the shiitake mushrooms and scallions. The bowl was quite large and it looks as if we'll both leave with take home containers.

I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai. Perfectly cooked rice noodles seasoned with a sweet & savory sauce, with tender chicken, scattered with peanuts and scallions. Oh. My. Goodness. This is a definite must eat and we can't wait to try something else next time. Don't know how we're gonna be able to -not- order the same thing again.
