I usually get the tuna poke bowl and I am serious when I say it's the best poke bowl I have ever had. I have also had the tofu bowl, my husband has the chicken, my co-worker gets the locals plate and my boss gets the salmon. Everyone loves it. The fish is so fresh and tender and the portion is very generous. The flavors together are perfect. We've ordered from here maybe 10 or 11 times and all six of the people we get food for agree it is amazing. No one has ever been disappointed. Out of curiosity I looked at the negative reviews, because I work somewhere that gets a lot of google reviews too. I think they are either fake or the kind of people that enjoy being negative because I totally disagree with everything they said. Service is marvelous, owner and employees are very nice and what you pay, for the quality of the food, is more than fair. Think about this - a McDonald's meal, which is full of processed non-food, costs $12-14 these days. And it's junk. This is healthy, fresh delicious food for the same price. Something to keep in mind. Anyway - we love your food Aloha Ansley and I have recommended you to all my friends. Keep up...
Read moreI ordered a salmon poke bowl. The ingredients are pretty much locked into what is listed. The combination was an odd taste and not well fused. Raw salmon was placed over hot rice, partially cooking the salmon. I did not taste any citrus. Cucumbers were not pickled, they were simply cut and stacked. I don't understand how the tomatoes fit in because they threw the taste of the bowl off as well. The worst for me was all of the fresh and raw ingredients (salmon, tomatoes, mixed greens, cucumbers, and avocado) served over hot coconut jasmine rice. I don't want my fresh ingredients cooked. I asked for ginger on the side. I have never had mushy tasteless ginger slices till now. I love poke bowls, but not this one. I will not be back. I'm glad I decided not to eat in the small sitting area where there was a gathering of 3 retired friends chewing with their mouths open complaining about having to go on a sailboat ride and all of their brother's nephews kids autism, and a slew of other issues. Wasn't trying to listen but the space is that small and they...
Read moreThe kind of place that charges a lot for less than average quality and quantity.
First off, I knew I wouldn’t be full with a single item off the menu so I asked if they have a smaller portion of something. I was told yes and it’s in the kids menu. So I’m like, okay, I’ll order a regular item and then a kids menu item. They ring me up for the adult price and later tell me I can’t order off the kids menu cause I’m not 12 or under (fine, I get it but don’t offer it and then say I can’t have it). Then there was the quality of food. The rice in my poke bowl was gross so I didn’t eat the rice and the tacos I ate purely out of annoyance as that was the kid menu I wanted (again, I get it but don’t offer me something and then say I can have it, that’s why I asked). Also didn’t finish the tacos fully as they were kinda gross. Apparently Florida gives this place 5 stars but I’ve had food outside this state and know what food...
