Homerun Pizza — Restaurant in Larkfield-Wikiup

There is like a culture of bad customer service in Larkfield. This Home run Pizza is among the worst. Personally I swore the place off years ago after repeated bad experiences. One time I was left on hold for 20 minutes as the the hostess was gossiping in the background with one of the waitresses. To the owners defense he contacted me and apologized so I gave them another shot. Forgot what happened but I said I'd never go back, and I meant it.

So tonight we were in a pinch and had to get something local, and fast. My wife went into the restaurant, stood at the hostess station and was ignored for several minutes while 30% of the tables had guests. After five minutes elapsed, the few girls who were there hadn't say a word to her. The delivery guy came from the back and greeted her, and assured somebody would help her. After another minute of being invisible, she finally came to her senses and left the building.

The food is great, we love the knuckleballs. But I don't give money to people who treat me poorly as a policy. I know everybody has a bad day every once in a while, but I have had a bad experience with horrible service at...

Just as the name states, this is Homerun Pizza!! The pizza is what I would consider on the higher end of the price spectrum, but it may be the most delicious pizza I've had in a while, and I eat a lot of pizza, especially with the shelter in place happening. Boyfriend and I didn't want to spend $30, so we looked at the website and their instagram for potential savings. One picture on their instagram linked us to the Sonoma Savings Card. For $30, you get savings on over 150 Sonoma County retailers, Homerun Pizza included. We got half off our pizza, which was well worth it. We got a large Hammer'n Hank, half pesto sauce, half red sauce. It was perfect, but we both agreed that red sauce is preferable over pesto. Pesto doesn't have enough moisture. But I digress. Crisp, crunchy crust, the perfect amount of toppings on top: not overloaded, not too few. Didn't plan to go here, planned to go to Thai food next door! But Thai only takeout! And old man night out had 3 men ready for moderate trouble, with plans for pool & karaoke/croaky at nearby Final Edition bar, so being near was key!

But once there, and with our planned restaurant out of commission, one of our party said good things about takeout here, living nearby he has tried it, so we ended up going in and decided to get a booth as the place is a mix of booths and tables along with a small bar area

We ended up getting pizza which was very good and potato skin appetizers which were a little overdone but pretty tasty, and I think somebody got a sandwich but I don't know how that was because they ate it all and did not share with anyone so it must have been good haha

Not super cheap, but they do have beer and wine and various malt liquor type enhanced seltzers, so you get a little buzz on if you want before the bar! And no I was not driving! So pizza and beer, nearby and flavorful, with more than a few TVs to...
