Luther Burbank Center for the Arts — Attraction in Santa Rosa

So hey there if I could give this place less than one star, if I could give them minus 10,000 stars then put them in jail I would do so gladly because what they did to me when the Johnny Cash Experience came to town was in fact criminal. I'm not going to get into a lot of details but needless to say if you get tickets or somebody buys you tickets for an LBC show make sure that you and your partner that you're going with have seats right next to each other as opposed to eight seats away where you try and sit together because there's nobody there but you get a flashlight shine in your face every 5 seconds by the ushers and rude Santa Rosa residents who just can't be happy sitting the heck down and watching a show they've got to sit in their seats oh my god if they don't they'll die! Finally the show started and I don't know where my friend went but I was enjoying it for about 3 minutes and started to sing and forget about the horror that went on prior and then boom more flashlights in my eyes again and that was it I stood up screaming bloody murder considering the price of the freaking tickets that my mother bought me for my birthday (thanks Mom) and I went barreling down to whatever somebody that was supposed to help their customers but she just didn't do jacko for me so I called that Monday to complain and to get my mother's credit card credited back for that debacle and guess what they basically told me to go suck an egg- too bad but they will take my comments under advisement. Oh really will you because I was in the music business for 20 years and I don't think I've ever done something so disgusting in my life I can't believe this place even exists and I've been in touch with John Carter Cash who is completely mortified and disgusted by it and if they think they're going to get any shows off of that label or even close anytime soon they're sadly mistaken not that they give a flying fahoodledoodle. So thanks to all of you for ruining my birthday that was the only thing I even asked for as soon as it was announced last year and I hope that your place you know blows the heck up and you don't have a job to go to because well I don't know I hope you think of this review when you fall asleep at night and think oh my gosh I'm an a-hole who could have done the right thing but didn't. PS: I'm also in contact with all of my musician friends and record company executive friends across the country and booking agents to let them know to say the heck away from this place because they treat their customers like dog doo doo. Really Sonoma County you think that you are hip? Go suck an egg-you should all be ashamed of yourselves have a supersonic day...

I have been coming here for many years and family before me had been coming many years before that. Great local venue. Sadly, the management or whoever is running the show every since Covid hit clearly has been struggling. The last four shows we have gone to started late. The lines are a mess. The Covid app they mandated wasn't actually mandated and is a terrible app. BUT HERE IS THE WORST PART! Went to some Circue Xmas event and it was awful. I thought the crowd was going to start booing. The audio cut out the ENTIRE show. Well we left at intermission because it was that bad so we can't personally attest that it went entire show but read on. They called the next day after my poor review. The lady was very nice and said YES they had heard the same from dozens of people and they were aware. She confirmed it went on even after intermission. She blamed it on them. Said they insisted on using their own audio equipment?????? She apologized and said they were trying to decide what to do for their customers. Again folks, this was so so so bad. Well a month later I guess they decided their dedicated customers don't deserve a refund or discount . TERRIBLE customer service. Anyone who went to this even will tell you not even the nicest person on earth would have accepted this. Bad on you Luther Burbank. Greed in the short run WILL NOT work in the long run. Hope you guys can get it together but you a certainly opening the door for people to find another "home" for these...

We went this past July to see Pat Benatar & Spyder they are amazing. My First time in that venue. My brother in law (professional musician )flew especially from Mexigco to see her perform. Everything was perfect cocy small theater, front seats row and a good show to enjoy. Until the young security start babysitting to the grown ups (50 years old and up true fans from the 80's) that were taking videos with their cellphones, security didn't let people enjoy the show telling fans no to take videos. Going between people even pushing people just to tell a fan "no video allow I can see on your cell the red dot for video"" Wile next day you can find full same concert we attended on YouTube. Plus if you want to Rock and stand up, sing along and dance, you need to stand up out of your sit and do it on one side. Other wise security will tellyou to sit down. Security need to understand and differentiate from a play and a rock concert. My brother in law was Very disappointed he got push from a young security girl wile she was telling to the people bejind us no to take video in a not polite way at all.
