Tucked into the cozy Larkfield Center, What’s the Pho delivers a satisfying and well-rounded Vietnamese dining experience. The bright and welcoming atmosphere immediately sets the tone for a pleasant meal, whether you’re dining solo, with friends, or—like us—bringing along a charming doll companion 💕. We started with fresh spring rolls—stuffed generously with shrimp, lettuce, vermicelli, and herbs, all wrapped in delicate rice paper. They came with a classic peanut hoisin dipping sauce that was rich and nutty without overpowering the freshness of the rolls. Next up were the crispy egg rolls, golden and piping hot, served with a tangy nước chấm dipping sauce. Crunchy on the outside and flavorful on the inside, they’re a must-try appetizer. The highlight was the pho—a steaming bowl of savory broth, aromatic with spices, filled with tender cuts of beef, rice noodles, and a generous scattering of green onions and herbs. The broth had depth and clarity, clearly simmered with care. It’s comfort in a bowl, perfect for any time of day. We also tried two rice and vermicelli combo dishes: • The grilled pork and shrimp over vermicelli, topped with a crispy egg roll and a side of fish sauce, was full of texture and smoky flavor. • The grilled pork and egg with rice offered a hearty, protein-packed plate with great balance between salty grilled meat and the clean, fluffy rice. Each dish was well-prepared, fresh, and generously portioned. Service was fast and friendly, and the colorful interior gave off a casual and cheerful vibe. Whether you’re craving pho, grilled meats, or fresh rolls, What’s the Pho hits the spot. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the Santa Rosa area!

Food: very delicious!! I'm a Vietnamese and live in San Jose so I have low expectations for Vietnamese food in Santa Rosa but to my surprise, their food was so good. Everything we got was excellent: flavorful broth for pho (both versions), well marinated for grilled pork, yummy sauce, and the flavor for garlic noodles was great. Service: excellent customer service. You RARELY get this from a Vietnamese restaurant unless it's a fancy one. Usually, you can expect the food to be good at a Vietnamese restaurant but don't have high hope for service. Not with this restaurant, they are very nice, polite and professional. I saw the waiter help a different customer separate the left over pho, broth and noodle, into 2 separate containers so the noodles don't get overly soft. I wish he offered the same to my mom's and sister's leftover though. He gave us just a single container for both broth and noodles. I won't take away a star since their service was still very good. Ambiance: small restaurant, not ideal for a big group but it's not overly crowded and very clean. Highly recommend!

Very welcoming upon entry. The place is a little small but they do got a couple seats for outside. I ordered a pho and smoked salmon rolls. The pho was full of flavor I gotta say the broth is one of the better ones in town. The smoked salmon rolls were ok. I wish they had more of the Smokey flavors in it. The pho alone was enough as it was a generous portion I could have done without the rolls.

I was really looking forward to eating at this store.

I ordered online on the website and when I got to the store to pick up, they didn’t have my order in their system and mentioned that I hadn’t paid.

After showing them my email confirmation and card charge, they still wouldn’t prepare my food. 20 minutes of waiting and no apology for the inconvenience, I told them to cancel the order.

It’s one thing if your system is messed up. But to have bad customer service with it is unacceptable....
